In this static session, I decided to change the usual exercise dynamic to focus on mastery and control of each movement. I performed three sets of holds for each static exercise, holding them as long as possible, enduring both the muscular tension and the extreme energy expenditure. Between each set, I rested for two minutes to ensure I had partially recovered my strength and could perform at my best on the next repetition.

After completing the static holds, I took a longer five-minute rest to properly recover before moving on to the next exercise. I then performed three sets of ten repetitions of the front lever press, adding a full three-second front lever hold at the end of each set.

I planned this routine with the goal of improving my technical mastery, endurance, and control in static exercises. As I progressed and felt my energy drain with each second of holding, I became more aware of my body's responses to the pressure of maintaining the position. This allowed me to identify how much strength and control are needed to hold static positions, as well as better visualize the technique and adjust my approach for future workouts.

This experience not only helped me strengthen my body but also develop a stronger mind-muscle connection, which I consider critical for progressing in calisthenics and reaching new levels of performance.
