Un giro de 360 grados es una vuelta completa y por tanto uno se queda como estaba. Para dar media vuelta se giran 180°, es impropio el uso de esta expresión con el sentido metafórico de ‘giro radical o diametralmente opuesto en el desarrollo de algo’ (que podría ser intencionado o accidental), pues en realidad el giro de 360 grados deja en la misma posición de partida.
A 360 degree turn is a full turn and therefore you stay as you were. To make a half turn you turn 180°, it is improper to use this expression with the metaphorical sense of 'radical or diametrically opposite turn in the development of something' (which could be intentional or accidental), because in reality the 360 degree turn leaves you in the same starting position.
