









Quería compartirles a ustedes mi primera visita al gimnasio (gym). Fue una experiencia muy agradable.
Antes de ir al gimnasio, ayudamos a un amigo con la venta de un bingo para recaudar fondos para los niños de bajos recursos. Casualmente, el gimnasio estaba recibiendo donaciones para esa misma causa, así que las personas con las que fui y yo llevamos unas prendas de ropa y nos permitieron entrenar gratis.
Fui acompañada de varios atletas y me ayudaron bastante en mi experiencia, cuidando que yo no levantara peso que realmente todavía no estuviera lista para levantar.
Empezamos con press de banca, como para calentar, según ellos. Yo lo hice, pero solo con la barra; no me sentí lo suficientemente segura para agregarle peso. Hice tres series de diez repeticiones en press de banca.
Luego realizamos un press inclinado. Hice el ejercicio con pesas de diez kg (sé que es bastante poco, pero recuerden que estoy empezando 😅). Hice igualmente tres series de diez repeticiones.
Después realizamos un ejercicio de empuje con una de las máquinas. Fue una experiencia muy agradable, sobre todo con las personas que me acompañaron.
Luego, para finalizar, realicé unas dominadas para no perder la costumbre.
Gracias a Dios todo fue un buen entrenamiento y día. Dios los bendiga a todos.

I wanted to share with you my first visit to the gym. It was a very pleasant experience.Before going to the gym, we helped a friend sell bingo tickets to raise funds for underprivileged children. Coincidentally, the gym was accepting donations for the same cause, so the people I went with and I brought some clothes and they let us train for free.I was accompanied by several athletes who helped me a lot during my experience, making sure I didn't lift weights that I wasn't really ready to lift yet.We started with bench presses, as a warm-up, according to them. I did it, but only with the bar; I didn't feel confident enough to add weight. I did three sets of ten repetitions on the bench press.Then we did incline presses. I did the exercise with 10 kg weights (I know it's not much, but remember I'm just starting out 😅). I also did three sets of ten reps.Then we did a pushing exercise with one of the machines. It was a very enjoyable experience, especially with the people who accompanied me.Then, to finish, I did some pull-ups so I wouldn't lose the habit.Thank God it was a good workout and a good day.
