¡Saludos a todos amigos, amigas y atletas de SWC! El primer evento de Calistenia del año, Sets and Reps 1° Edición, fue una experiencia emocionante y gratificante para mí, ya que tuve el honor de ser organizador y jurado de esta competencia tan esperada. El evento se llevó a cabo en nuestro querido parque de Tiquire Flores, ubicado en el municipio José Rafael Revenga, estado Aragua, el día 30 de marzo del presente año. Un lugar lleno de energía y entusiasmo que fue el escenario perfecto para este emocionante encuentro deportivo gracias al apoyo de la Blockchain de Hive, de SWC y de la alcaldía municipal.
Greetings to all SWC friends and athletes! The first Calisthenics event of the year, Sets and Reps 1st Edition, was an exciting and rewarding experience for me, as I had the honor of being the organizer and jury of this long awaited competition. The event took place in our beloved Tiquire Flores Park, located in the municipality of José Rafael Revenga, Aragua State, on March 30th of this year. A place full of energy and enthusiasm that was the perfect setting for this exciting sporting event thanks to the support of Hive Blockchain, SWC and the municipal mayor's office.
En esta ocasión, contamos con la participación de atletas en dos categorías: principiantes y avanzados. Desde el principio, se podía sentir la emoción en el aire mientras los competidores se preparaban para mostrar sus habilidades y destrezas en las barras y paralelas. La competencia se dividió en dos rondas: la clasificatoria, donde los participantes demostraron su resistencia en máximas repeticiones por minuto, con una fuerza y técnica limpia para avanzar a la final; y la final, donde los mejores de cada categoría se enfrentaron a un circuito cronometrado en una batalla épica por el primer lugar.
On this occasion, we had the participation of athletes in two categories: beginners and advanced. From the beginning, you could feel the excitement in the air as the competitors prepared to show their skills and abilities on the bars and parallel bars. The competition was divided into two rounds: the qualifying round, where participants demonstrated their endurance in maximum repetitions per minute, with clean strength and technique to advance to the final; and the final, where the best in each category faced a timed circuit in an epic battle for first place.
Como jurado, tuve la difícil tarea de evaluar a cada participante, observando atentamente su ejecución, técnica y limpieza en cada ejercicio. Fue inspirador ver el esfuerzo y dedicación de cada atleta, así como el apoyo mutuo que se vivió durante todo el evento, tanto del público y organización, como de los mismos atletas competidores. La pasión por la calistenia se reflejaba en cada gesto y en cada salto, creando un ambiente de competencia sana y motivadora.
As a jury, I had the difficult task of evaluating each participant, closely observing their execution, technique and cleanliness in each exercise. It was inspiring to see the effort and dedication of each athlete, as well as the mutual support that was experienced throughout the event, both from the public and organization, as well as from the competing athletes themselves. The passion for calisthenics was reflected in every gesture and every jump, creating an atmosphere of healthy and motivating competition.
Al final del día, los ganadores fueron anunciados por el CEO Manuel Ramos @manuelramos y mi persona, celebrados con entusiasmo por sus compañeros y seguidores. Fue un momento de orgullo y satisfacción ver con lágrimas en los ojos el talento y la determinación de estos atletas, así como el crecimiento y la evolución de la comunidad de calistenia en nuestro parque, en Aragua y en toda Venezuela.
At the end of the day, the winners were announced by CEO Manuel Ramos @manuelramos and myself, celebrated with enthusiasm by their teammates and supporters. It was a moment of pride and satisfaction to see with tears in our eyes the talent and determination of these athletes, as well as the growth and evolution of the calisthenics community in our park, in Aragua and throughout Venezuela.
En resumen, el primer evento de Calistenia del año Sets and Reps 1° Edición fue todo un éxito, lleno de emoción, adrenalina y compañerismo. Como organizador y jurado, me siento agradecido por haber sido parte de esta experiencia inolvidable y estoy ansioso por ver qué nos depara el próximo evento. ¡Que viva la calistenia!
In summary, the first Calisthenics event of the year Sets and Reps 1st Edition was a success, full of excitement, adrenaline and camaraderie. As an organizer and judge, I am grateful to have been part of this unforgettable experience and I can't wait to see what the next event has in store for us. Long live calisthenics!
