For the August contest of #thoughtfuldailypost, I decided to support a new redfish user who recently joined The Terminal's discord server. I want to introduce you to @asteel and the post which I will be talking about can be found here.
How does Asteel's post qualify for a #thoughtfuldailypost ?
Asteel's post starts off by sharing his raw journey in life with his life-changing moment of developing a brain aneurysm which lead to the re-learning of walking, talking and self expression. Despite this setback, Asteel radiated nothing but utmost positivity about overcoming these challenges.
Asteel's post mentioned a series of moments of self-reflections which is one of the pillars of thoughtfuldailypost. Asteel reflected upon his battle with agoraphobia which according to his post is a fear of panic attacks from leaving home. Nonetheless, Asteel still took a positive turn to give credit to his cat Chrissy who is his emotional support and provides Asteel with mental and emotional strength to overcome the wait to getting to the Doctor's office.

Another pillar of the thoughtfuldailypost is centred around the theme of human nature. Asteel mentions that phobias are not logical yet this specific trait makes it harder to overcome it. Moreover, Asteel gives readers a raw insight about the thoughts that run through his mind before he is about to head to an appointment and the lurking fear within him which can weigh a person down both mentally and physically.

Despite these life altering hurdles, Asteel demonstrated two major pillars of thoughtfuldailypost which are positivity and thoughtfulness. Day 1 when I met him at the Terminal's discord server, he was open to engaging with other members and had a drive to learn more about blogging at Hive. Asteel ends of his post by saying that blogging is therapeutic for him. He opened up about his passion for VR as a community manager as well as working on his goals to generate passive income.
