ENSEÑANZAS Y CIERRE DE CICLO EN MI VIDA
Este mes Julio marcó el inicio de una nueva etapa en mi vida, lo recibo con un año mas de edad pues en junio cumplí 60 años y a partir del mes julio estoy formalmente jubilado de mi trabajo actual, han sido 26 años de servicio para el estado y 11 años para el sector privado y de trabajo independiente, esto en cuanto a relación de trabajo formal, puesto que como casi todos los que pertenecen a mi generación y provenimos de hogares humildes, es muy común trabajar desde muy jóvenes algunos comienzan desde la niñez.

This month of July marked the beginning of a new stage in my life, I receive it with one more year of age because in June I turned 60 years old and from July I am formally retired from my current job, I have been 26 years of service for the state and 11 years for the private sector and independent work, this in terms of formal work relationship, since like almost everyone who belongs to my generation and come from humble homes, it is very common to work from very young, some start from childhood.

Como de costumbre, cuando pasa algo trascendente en mi vida me gusta evaluar lo que he hecho, pero por la complejidad y la cantidad de tiempo dedicado a mi actividad laboral formal, sería contraproducente ahondar en detalles pero si considero importante resaltar algunas enseñanzas personales; 1) Comienza a trabajar desde muy joven para que cultives sentimientos de productividad personal, automotivación, autodirección y autocontrol aprovechando la energía que tiene la juventud. 2) Aunque es muy difícil conseguir el trabajo ideal, trata en lo posible de transformar tu trabajo en ocupación, que no sea una simple realización de tareas y operaciones cotidianas, que las haces sólo porque te pagan, eso pudiera destruir tu iniciativa y creatividad, si eso sucede te transformaras en algo parecido a una pieza de un mecanismo que sólo se mueve por la energía que se le aplica de manera externa. 3) Ahorra, planifica, organiza y emprende si eres muy joven y motivado, probablemente comiences a soñar con ser tu propio jefe, sueño por el que debes luchar, ser nuestro propio jefe implica fortalecer una serie de características personales y valores; la disciplina, la eficiencia, competitividad, valentía para asumir riesgos… por supuesto que este es un proceso difícil y complejo y si no logras el éxito, siempre te quedara una experiencia positiva. Yo lo he intentado muchas veces y justo ahora estoy pensando en iniciar un nuevo emprendimiento. 4) El trabajo es un hecho social y es requisito trabajar con la gente, por eso debemos aprender a convivir con personas de diferentes caracteres, temperamentos, razonamientos, valores y experiencias. Porque si analizas te darás cuenta que vas a pasar al menos un tercio de tu día conviviendo con tus compañeros de trabajo, unos se irán y otros vendrán pero siempre te será útil la madurez personal y laboral, respeto, la comunicación, la cooperación, objetivos y metas compartidos. Al final algunos llegaran a formar parte de tu círculo de amistades y otros sólo compañeros de trabajo. 5) Si llegas a una posición de supervisión o gerencial conforma un equipo con la gente más trabajadora, comprometida y experta, esto te ayudará a lograr resultados y te exigirá fortalecer tus habilidades gerenciales de planificación, organización, dirección, control, motivación, liderazgo, análisis de problemas, toma de decisiones, relaciones humanas… porque eso te hará ganar la lealtad y el respeto de hasta los que te superen en conocimiento y experiencia en un área determinada de tu trabajo. 6) Si decides trabajar para una organización o empresa, independientemente del tamaño o actividad de ésta, debes ser leal, honesto y comprometido con ella, si sientes que ya no tienes motivos para estar allí, que se agotó la fuente de tu crecimiento o tus metas personales no encajan de manera alguna con la empresa u organización que trabajas, debes realizar un ejercicio de honestidad personal e irte. Es inevitable para mi recordar una decisión tomada a los 32 años cuando trabajaba con una organización elite del estado que me formó y perfiló mi vida laboral futura durante 9 años, a esa edad y con dos hijas de dos y seis años me retire, esa decisión hasta hace pocos años fue objeto de debate en mi familia.

As usual, when something transcendent happens in my life I like to evaluate what I have done, but due to the complexity and the amount of time dedicated to this personal achievement, it would be counterproductive to delve into details but I consider important to highlight some personal teachings; 1) Start working from a very young age to cultivate feelings of personal productivity, self-motivation, self-direction and self-control, taking advantage of the energy that youth has. 2) Although it is very difficult to get the ideal job, try as much as possible to transform your work into an occupation, that is not a simple performance of daily tasks and operations, which you do only because they pay you, that could destroy your initiative and creativity, if that happens you will become something like a piece of a mechanism that only moves by the energy that is applied externally, because it does not produce it. 3) Save, plan, organize and undertake if you are very young and motivated, you probably start dreaming of being your own boss, dream for which you must fight, being our own boss involves strengthening a number of personal characteristics and values; discipline, efficiency, competitiveness, courage to take risks ... of course this is a difficult and complex process and even if you do not succeed, you will always have a positive experience. I have tried many times and right now I am thinking of starting a new venture. 4) Work is a social fact and it is a requirement to work with people, so we must learn to live with people of different characters, temperaments, reasoning, values and experiences. Because if you analyze you will realize that you will spend at least a third of your day living with your coworkers, some will leave and others will come but it will always be useful to you personal and work maturity, respect, communication, cooperation, shared objectives and goals. In the end some will become part of your circle of friends and others just co-workers. 5) If you reach a supervisory or managerial position, form a team with the most hard-working, committed and expert people, this will help you achieve results and will require you to strengthen your managerial skills in planning, organization, direction, control, motivation, leadership, problem analysis, decision making, human relations... because this will earn you the loyalty and respect of even those who surpass you in knowledge and experience in a particular area of your work. 6) If you decide to work for an organization or company, regardless of its size or activity, you must be loyal, honest and committed to it, if you feel that you no longer have a reason to be there, that the source of your growth is exhausted or your personal goals do not fit in any way with the company or organization you work for, you must perform an exercise of personal honesty and leave. It is inevitable for me to remember a decision taken at the age of 32 when I worked with an elite organization of the state that formed me and shaped my future work life for 9 years, at that age and with two daughters of two and six years old I retired, that decision until a few years ago was the subject of debate in my family.
Mi retiro formal como jubilado de la industria petrolera, culmina una etapa de mi vida, mi balance es muy positivo con muchas enseñanzas, experiencias valiosas, metas alcanzadas, otras no, problemas y situaciones desagradables por supuesto, pero al final se cierra un ciclo y surgen nuevas metas, sé que en esta plataforma un alto porcentaje es gente joven algunos casi adolescentes, uno que otro no tanto, también sé que los tiempos cambian y que cada generación tiene sus retos y particularidades, pero al final es inevitable acumular años y envejecer. Yo con sesenta años de edad estoy agradecido por sentirme, pese a algunos achaques propios de la edad, saludable y con energía para iniciar este nuevo ciclo de mi vida. Comienza la tercera edad y lo considero un privilegio, una bendición que a muchos se les ha negado por lo tanto me sobran los motivos para estar feliz. Saludos que el universo siga en línea conspirando a nuestro favor.

hola @mogollono1862 cuando mi padre se jubilo de la universidad en la que dio clases por 30 años. Se encontraba en una situacion parecida a la tuya, cierre de ciclos y apertura de otros. Le dije, papá creo que jubilarse es como el perdon de los pecados, y me dijo: Porque? Le respondi: es que en la biblia dice, te ganaras el pan con el sudor de tu frente, y tu ya no tienes que hacerlo, ya te jubilastes. Y se rio y le gusto la metafora. Con la vitalidad que tienes y la experiencia recorrida, cosas tienes por hacer en esta experiencia de vida. Deseo consigas nuevos propositos a tu vida, y que la disfrutes tanto como lo elijas, hoy en dia tus hijas deben tener entre 28 y 34 años de edad, y seguramente tienen sus proyectos marchando.
