I actually think that introducing oneself is kind of difficult: one must know who one is and then choose how to show it to the world. Anyways, I’ll try my best.
My name is María Alexandra, I’m 22 years old and in less than a month, those will be 23. Even though my latest birthdays have not been the best or the more celebrated, the next one fills me with illusion; I hope I can enjoy it with my friends and loved ones, and with yummy food and music in a special place. With nostalgia, that thought reminds me of those Master Card commercials about the priceless things, and I think they’re right.
Speaking about commercials and publicity, I’d like to talk about my love for Arts and Design, which encouraged me to choose Graphic Design as my major and start loving a whole bunch of new, different things, especially my friends. As expected, with Covid came a long pause in what once was my college life; however, even when we are not that close now, I never lose my hope for the future and our reunion, just to keep on living like we used to in that place.
I’m not the only one without a plan, but just like all of us, my wish for the future is to live the life that I want, doing something I love. For now, I think I could achieve this by being an illustrator or designer. It will require working very hard and with lots of love, learning and evolving in this topic. Anyways, since we don’t really know what await us later on, I think it’s better to apply that formula on everything we do.
Nací y vivo en Mérida, mas este año conocí la ciudad de San Cristóbal y aquí estoy por estas fechas. Espero poder conocer muchos otros lugares próximamente.
On the other hand, I wouldn’t like to introduce myself without telling you about my home and my family. At home, we’ve always been my dad, my mom, my sister, our pet Greta and me. For now, my only company is Greta, but Luis has given me a new love and a new family that’s made us feel loved and just like home while I learn to love, value and miss my go-to people way more.
I was born and have always lived in Mérida, but this year I was lucky enough to come to the city of San Cristóbal for the first time and here I’ll be for this period of the year. I hope to get to know a bunch of new places in the upcoming times.
I love listening to music, going for a walk, taking the bus, getting to know, being a tourist, seeing, reading, painting, taking a shower,watching the sunset, getting pretty, laughing while I talk, cooking and eating, loving and feeling loved, seeing my family’s joy, doing an excellent work, taking advantage of my time and this list is going for too long so I better stop. The new beginnings have always intrigued me, but also excited me a lot, and this one is not the exception.
Thank you so much to my go-to girls, the @anirbasf and the @veronik28dic for always being there for me and taking me to this world. I love you and wish you only happiness.
