Walking down the street and having kids say "Aunty good morning" has been my always greatest reality check to adulthood.😄
Like,when did I get here?🤲
I mean, I've always wanted to be grown,to feel grown and be treated like a grown-up just like my other older siblings but it feels the part where responsibility start setting in was always left out of the picture. Now I have to start making important decisions without my mom or any older person telling me "this is what you have to do"
And the bills😩
Ugh.
Having enough to take care of ourselves and remembering you also have to get a spare for others around you can be so demanding especially with how tough everywhere is at the moment. Sometimes makes me wish, I didn't grow but life comes in phases. This is time for the adult phase and there's no backing out I guess.
I swear, me sef be wan turn into a small kid again... Cause I still don't get how adulthood got to sneak in😞😞.
There are times I watch this kids with no worries at all, and I would just be like, God,can I live without worries too🤦.
As responsibilities take plenty, na him bills sef dey choking. This adult phase, omo na be play play phase at all.
You miss the old good days when all you think about is good, play and sleep 😴

Life is in phases. At a time, I was a child, a teenager and now an adult and all these phases have their good and bad sides.
Since I became an adult, I came to realize that I have more responsibilities which I must fulfill. One of those responsibilities is to put a roof over my head, to put food on my table, to provide social security for my family.

Yes I went to church o. Shockingly, I was select to take Sunday school today after being given topic and text but all glory to God it went fine and we all learnt.
During sermon, we were taught that, staying with God alone even when you have millions of opposers trying to attack you will make you conquer. All we need is to ensure we please God and not bother about pleasing humans.
Saul and David were used as a case study, when Saul tried all means with multitude of his soldiers searching for David by all means from 1Sam.25, 26, 27 all through to chapter 31 so they can get him killed but because David relied on God and pleased God, God used all means to save him till the point that Saul had to die by his own sword and also implicated all his sons aside the less privileged son who couldn't go to war.
So in all, never let what people say about you matter or bother you so much that you fail to be in pursuit of what God will say about you.
After service like this, we've been out to celebrate with the churches that invited us for their anniversaries and Thanksgiving so I'm even still on my way home 😩😩

Yes I went to church and since today Men's day, the topic of today's message was Men at work.
The preacher talked to men about putting more effort to work for God, and also encourage the youths to use their youthful energy well to do things for God .
It was a nice service.
But after the service I went back home and had a little nap, because it's been long I had an afternoon nap. And I needed it.
Hmmmm, men at work. What an interesting topic, i definitely agree to the fact that this is the best time to get one self engaged in the work of the lord. Thanks for the wonderful reflection…
