I've got a bunch of stuff kicking around in my head these days. Lot's of little thoughts that are taking up space in my moderately sized brain. I could end up rambling for a while on this post, but I will use headings to keep things as easy to read as possible.

New Lights

My garage only has two light sockets in the center of the rafters. That means things get pretty dark in the far corners of the garage. I had been wanting to pick up some lights like this for a while but at $30 a piece the price was just a little more than I could stomach.

By some strange luck, my wife got an email from Brad's Deals that had a coupon code to get two of them for the price of one on Amazon. We quickly made the purchase and I must say the difference is like night and day (pardon the cliche) in the garage. These things are pretty awesome and if you ever need lights that will cover a full room, these will do it! You can individually adjust the LED panels to cover pretty much any area you want. These things are ingenious!

Trailer Repair

I went over to my parents last Saturday to pull our travel trailer out of storage. Sadly, the electric tongue jack would not budge and when I tried to manually crank it the nut broke inside. Luckily, I had a bottle jack that I was able to lift the trailer with and get it attached to my truck.

The good news is, I had a feeling the jack was about to give out at the end of last camping season, so I purchased a new one a month or so ago.

I was terrified that the holes were not going to line up between the old jack and the new one. Luck was once again on my side and things fit perfectly! The install was very simple and only took about fifteen minutes to accomplish. The most tedious part was the wiring because I didn't have the proper connectors. I made it work though.

It is a pretty sweet jack and for $15 more than the one I was going to buy it lifts 1000 more pounds and it came with a remote control!

What is missing from Hive?

Just the other day I was thinking to myself, "you know what I haven't seen on Hive that most other chains have?" If you guessed a gambling app, you would be correct. I haven't seen a single gambling app on the Hive Blockchain, not even a dice app.

Now, I am not saying I want to see one, and maybe there is one and I just haven't stumbled across it yet, but if there isn't, I think that is kind of interesting and telling about our blockchain.

I know part of it could just be because of government regulations, but I also think it says "this is not a place to earn a quick buck". Hive is a chain where you need to put in the work to see the rewards. Proof of Work done the right way.

Healing Well

I actually have a lot more stuff kicking around my head, but I will leave you with this. Many people have been following my leg injury and if you were brave enough to look at the before pictures when I first injured it, you will understand how much better this picture looks.

They say I am 71% healed and they can actually start to see skin growing throughout the wound. If you are here for the first time, I will spare you the before pictures, just imagine it 71% worse than this.

It has been a horrible three month ordeal going into the wound clinic once a week to get my leg unwrapped, treated, and then re-wrapped. I am hoping I only have a couple more weeks. When I took this picture on Tuesday, the nurses and doctor described my wound as beautiful, so I think they are happy with my progress!
