Hemos visto la red de Hive inundada con entradas al concurso de @tripode "Energy Refill", cuya finalidad es analizar frases determinadas, ya sea por experiencias propias o por lo que entendamos de la misma. Así que hoy me animo a participar también en su semana #10, porque motivos tengo de sobra para decir:

I've seen the Hive network flooded with entries to @tripode's "Energy Refill" contest, the purpose of which is to analyze particular phrases, either from our own experiences or from what we understand about it. So today I am encouraged to also participate in its week #10, because I have plenty of reasons to say:
"Every cloud has a silver lining."
En Diciembre del 2019 mi abuela por parte de mamá se encontraba sufriendo de varios problemas médicos, y aunado a eso estaba padeciendo una fuerte depresión. Para ese momento yo vivía en Caracas, pero pude venir a Maturín a pasar las navidades y a compartir con ella lo que sería su último Diciembre. Para los primeros días del mes de Enero me regresé a Caracas y la situación de mi abuela estaba medio controlada, pero al llegar febrero todo empeoró, ya que dejó hasta de hablar y comer.
In December 2019 my grandmother on my mother's side was suffering from several medical problems, and in addition to that she was suffering from a strong depression. At that time I was living in Caracas, but I was able to come to Maturin to spend Christmas and to share with her what would be her last December. By the first days of January I returned to Caracas and my grandmother's situation was half under control, but in February everything got worse, since she stopped talking and eating.
Unas semanas antes de que se declarara la cuarentena en el país, mi mamá despertó y al ir al cuarto de mi abuelo se dió cuenta de que estaba agonizando y después de un rato de sentarse con ella a orar, mi abuela falleció. Esa noticia, aunque ya era esperada, igual me hizo sentir bastante mal, sobretodo porque sentía que no habíamos hecho lo suficiente pues si condición requería de un gasto médico bastante elevado y hubieron exámenes que no logramos hacer. Entonces pensé que quizás por eso murió tan rápido, por no contar con el tratamiento exacto para curarse.
A few weeks before the quarantine was declared in the country, my mother woke up and when she went to my grandfather's room she realized that he was in agony and after a while of sitting with her and praying, my grandmother passed away. That news, even though it was expected, still made me feel quite bad, especially because I felt that we had not done enough because her condition required a high medical expense and there were tests that we did not manage to do. Then I thought that maybe that was why he died so quickly, because we did not have the exact treatment to cure him.
Una vez que la declararon muerta mi papá salió a hacer todos los trámites, ya que ni mamá estaba bastante conmovida, y consiguió la cremación rápidamente y completamente gratis por medio de la alcaldía (lo que consideramos una bendición teniendo en cuenta la situación del país), y en 5 días le entregaron todo el papeleo. Justo al culminar todo el trámite y declararon la cuarentena.
Once she was declared dead my dad went out to do all the paperwork, as my mom was quite moved, and got the cremation quickly and completely free through the mayor's office (which we consider a blessing considering the situation of the country), and in 5 days they gave him all the paperwork. Just at the end of the paperwork, they declared quarantine.
¿Cuál considero que es la parte positiva de que Dios se la llevara tan pronto?
A mi abuela debíamos llevar cada 2 días a un CDI en taxi, ya que no podía caminar, para que le pasaran el tratamiento, además tenía una dieta alimenticia muy estricta que gracias a mi trabajo se podía costear. Con todo el problema de la cuarentena yo perdí mi trabajo, los CDI en Maturín colapsaron y
no se podía circular en las calles por la posibilidad de contagio.
What do I consider to be the positive part of God taking her so soon?
We had to take my grandmother to a CDI every two days by cab, since she could not walk, so that they could give her the treatment, she also had a very strict diet that thanks to my work she could afford. With all the quarantine problem, I lost my job, the CDI in Maturin collapsed and
I could not circulate in the streets because of the possibility of contagion.
Imagínense cuán difícil hubiese Sido esa situación para ella. Con ese virus su situación hubiera empeorado notablemente, ya no habría dinero para sus remedios y menos para su dieta, en fin... Mi abuela hubiese sufrido mucho más.
Por eso entendí que todo pasó como tenía que suceder y al final fué lo mejor. Mi abuela pudo morir tranquila y sin tanto sufrimiento, y además las cosas se dieron para que mis padres no tuvieran que pasar tanto trabajo con la situación. Así que, como en muchas ocasiones de mi vida, Dios no nos ha desamparado y se ha cumplido el dicho: "No hay mal que por bien no venga"
Imagine how difficult that situation would have been for her. With that virus, her condition would have worsened considerably, there would have been no money for her medicines and even less for her diet.... My grandmother would have suffered much more.
That is why I understood that everything happened as it had to happen and in the end it was for the best. My grandmother was able to die peacefully and without so much suffering, and also things happened so that my parents did not have to go through so much work with the situation. So, as on many occasions in my life, God has not forsaken us and the saying "Every cloud has a silver lining" has been fulfilled.

Lamentó mucho lo sucedido aunque como dices en estos tiempos mantener su salud iba a ser peor que lo que sucedió espero que donde esté; cuide de ustedes pues hicieron lo que estuvo a sus manos.

I have a similar case and situation with you.
I also lost my grandma last year and the same good thing is the same good thing you pointed out here.
The expenses would have kept increasing as she was struggling to live but after her death, everything went calm again and now we are only worrying about when to bury her and put her to final rest.
So in every bad situation, something good is always around the corner.

Por lo que leo en tu post siento que hicieron todo lo mejor que pudieron hacer por ella y la querían mucho y eso además de valioso es lo más importante, que ella en vida haya contado con ese apoyo familiar, creo que cuando toca el tiempo de partir no hay mucho que hacer para impedirlo y ciertamente lidiar con esa situación en medio de toda esta pandemia hubiera sido más complicado para todos.
