I hope your hump day has been a good one. Today we are going t drop some liquid filled photos for Water Wednesday!
I always thought this was a cool capture right from the balcony. It is legit and not a silly edit. It is a common sight actually in the Spring as the lake is in a battle between melting and freezing. We have seen it go back and forth for weeks. The cool thing though about this shot is how beautifully the ice mirror the brilliant white clouds, while the liquid water was having none of that lol.
I hope to always have a place to appreciate the calming beauty of waves of water.
As many of you know the tree outside my bedroom features prominently in many of my balcony shots lol.
The water was so still and calm today that it was actually hard to see!
I kept getting a problem posting photos. They would post fine on the length but not the height. Anyone else having issues. This one cuts off Bens face mid level. Heck I am not even that bad with the camera LOL
My boat can go a bit faster lol. Going slow is fun when the sun is setting and the lake is still. Also going slow is a necessity when it drops in temp as the sun drops below the horizon.

I kept getting network error and finally, I changed from Peakd to Hive and it worked. Seriously. Went back to Peakd, and it still did it.
So... I got it loaded all in Hive and pasted it in Peakd and it worked. And no, it still wasn't loading in Peakd. I just love playing like that when I have to schedule it and run.
Love Water Wednesday. I wish I thought of it, but, that is what I need. Another challenge! :)

Really nice photography! I especially liked the first photo with the reflections in the ice and water. All of them loaded and looked fine today.
Yeah they must have been working on something. Loads them all fine now lol.
The picture with Ben looks fine. There have been a few image issue lately, I think it is due to the HF24 testing and prep work. Last week for a few hours no pictures were loading at all for me. Get a glitch, wait a bit, and glitch is generally gone, all it means is it is snack time.
Some nice reflection shots, won't be long now before winter is upon you, I am hoping for a not so bad winter this year.
Yeah right now it wont allow pics to be uploaded. Keeps saying network error. Like you say it will pass.
I have heard rumors it is going to be a cold one, but who knows..
Your pictures look awesome, @old-guy-photos. I don't see any issues. I love that last one with the pink glow. Water is amazing, how it reflects whatever the environment around it is presenting at the moment. I'm so glad I noticed this post. I nearly forgot about Water Wednesday! You know how I love the hashtags.
