(GGAP) GoatGang Give-Away Proposal
Proudly, Hive is inhabited and maintained by a very responsive and creative community, Sadly, it has proven that it is not enough for motivating mass non-crypto users to obtain the prerequisites to outlast the learning curve.
It is known that the lack of coherent and readily available user support material is a weakness of many crypto projects, our contests intend to sponsor the creation of these much needed support materials.
The primary challenge new users must overcome is that, to fully participate in a crypto community, a minimum amount of coins is required. Acquiring coins is not a straightforward process and access varies by location of the user. We will streamline this process by creating dynamic multi-stage contests that reward users with Crypto (HIVE). Simply giving away coins will not work, because some users will look for an unfair advantage while others might consider a giveaway of a crypto coin as something suspicious. Without an effective mechanism to distinguish between engaged and committed users and those that are not, a system could be easily tampered with. That is why it is so important to have dedicated community administration keeping the process entirely transparent. Running elliptical reward analysis to increase distribution effectiveness and prevent abuse of our system, is necessary.
This proposal’s primary purpose is to create a funding mechanism for prizes and giveaways.
About the promotions:
Alongside the marketing campaign designed and implemented in (GGP)Goatgang Growth Proposal; we will launch continuous promotions, giving a starting amount of tokens (HIVE) to each new member who signs on a contest or promotion during the campaign. We want to make it clear for new users that participating in the Hive network could bring financial benefits. The very concept of receiving a monetary incentive, will establish a market differentiator between us and the traditional/centralized social networks.
Our marketing strategy was created using collected evidence from analysis of existing social networks. To measure the campaigns effectiveness, it would be optimal to run and analyze the campaigns, management process and contests for at least 4 months.
About the users implementing the campaign:
Our Curation Community is managed in part by @upmewhale and by myself (@steemgoat). Our daily experience with actively and manually curating quality content, shows us that investing in users who produce quality content, increases the chain’s overall value. Based on that experience, we decided that 100% of the proposal funding will be granted and rewarded to users creating content, participating in contests and assisting newcomers by creating educational materials.
To maintain quality and transparency of the contests, the GoatGang community moderators (@nelyp and @steemgoat) will jointly oversee contest management, rule sets, and participant experience. The Proposal is a solid idea HIVE is fantastic but the learning curb is steep, to fully understand HIVEs potential perks I to believe Certain benefits should be fast tracked.
