It's Sunday, and it's our schedule to attend our weekend meeting in sign language. I'm glad my wife feels better so we can go to Dagupan City for the meeting.

We walked our way to the bus stop as we used to do. It's a fine day so it's nice to walk. We immediately found a modern jeepney to ride, and I like it because it's air conditioned.

On our way to the city, we were stuck in traffic in Binmaley town area. It's unclear what the government is doing but people are not given any notice. Besides, they lacked system so motorists won't be stuck in traffic for a long time. The supposed 30 minute ride turned into an hour and 20 minutes.

We are late on our sign language meeting but at least we're still able to attend more than half of it.

We had our lunch too, and taught some deaf students. While going back home, the traffic is still there. What's supposed to be a 30-minute ride was more than 2 hours. Drivers lacked discipline despite the traffic. Poor control by the government. It's a lot of inconvenience. I'm able to take some rest when we got home.

I so understand the traffic thing! We spent over 5 miles and what seemed like an eternity in complete gridlock tonight coming home from our son's home.

You used that nice filter again! I like it; it gives the sky a unique color!

I'm glad you got to your meeting. Traffic can be such a pain! Take care!

So it wasn't an easy trip for you? I feel you there.

Thanks for the compliment. I just love using verdant edit. Hehe

It was just too much traffic and no real rest between coming and going. I prefer to spend at least a couple of days when traveling, at my destination. That didn't happen this way. I suppose we could have stayed an extra day, but we had stuff that needed doing here at home too. All's well that ends well. Take care!

That's too sad. Do you know what may be the cause of the traffic. I thought we have the worst traffic.

I'm thinking it was just people gawking at scenery; not really sure; there was no accident.

Too bad. Everyone are affected due to that.

Sounds like everyone is having traffic jams....... Other than that it sounds like you had a wonderful time!
Today we were stuck in a traffic jam 5 miles long!!😳

Liz has told me too. That's really bad. Seriously, I never expected to hear such long traffic. What's the cause?

Just too much humanity, I would never recommend anyone living in Seattle..... Everyone makes very good money, and spends a lot of money, and put up with a lot of bad traffic!🙄

Oh yeah. All I know Seattle is a great city. You know, it's been in the movies. Lol

It's also a fairly large city, it is squeezed between the ocean and the mountains. There isn't much room for people. The mountains run, same direction the highway runs, and every one is packed in a small area of land.

Usually, big cities become congested. That's why housing is a main problem, and the cost is pretty high. I watched a documentary in Hong Kong, housing is a huge problem considering Hong Kong is small, and huge parts of the land is not fit for construction.

Yes I have seen Hong Kong not much space for housing! I think Japan is the same way everyone lives in small confined apartments!🙄

Part of the road looks quite clear but part of it looks like it's not moving.

Yeah. The clear part is actually the enforcer's way to decongest. There's a truck their prior.
