Military Collection
The military has been a big part of my life, so when I got to travel around the country taking pictures for a book about the Civil War, I was glad for that opportunity. I felt it only fitting that my first entry into the #hivestockimages was going to be military related images.
You are free to use the images in this post only when you are making posts to the Hive Blockchain. They are not to be used outside of Hive. I feel that Hive Stock Photos should be strictly used for Hive. Not for financial gain outside of our ecosystem and definitely not on Steem. There are enough thieves on that blockchain already.
If you decide to use any of the images I provide in this post, the least I would expect is to be credited for the photos. @minismallholding gave a great idea about rewarding the owners of the photos in the Hive Stock Images Intro Post. While not mandatory, it would be nice to set the owner of the photos as a beneficiary for the use of the images provided.
Having the photographer as a beneficiary for the post gives incentive for that photographer to release more images to be used as stock photos for the Hive Community.
I have many different themes and styles of photography that I would be willing to provide to the community. What kinds of photos would you like to see added to Hive Stock Images?

Each one of these tells a story all by itself. I see you have a keen eye to align the tomb and the headstone rows. Great capture on the last image as well. Extremely impressive. Hmmmmm. I haven't made any submissions to Hive Stock Images and haven't even really checked it out. You mentioned the reasons why. I don't want my photos used by anybody anyplace. Now you are going to make me rethink that too.
Can they be limited to Hive? If so, I'm probably in with some.
I've put forward the suggestion that using the #hivestockimages tag is the creator's permission for use by Hivers on the Hive blockchain and that the photographer/artist should always be credited. I don't think they should be used off this blockchain without the owners specific permission. Some people are happy to have them used elsewhere, but they say so in their posts.
I thoroughly understand your reticence and would not choose to try and influence you either way. The community would not attempt to claim any ownership of anyone's images, it's merely a meeting place between the image creators and authors. So feel free to set all your own stipulations on use of your images, if you should decide to allow others to use them.
As an author, more than a creator, myself, I can only say I am grateful to all who choose to let us use their work and that's why I want to be able to give something in return as a thank you, which setting beneficiaries allows us to easily do here.
Well alrighty then. I have a couple of files that might be of use sometimes, and some singles also. I'll check it out. Don't hold your breath, I have a huge couple of days scheduled starting at sunrise today :)
