This is a tea stall. Although I haven't traveled all over India, I believe that you will find such tea shops everywhere. I can't say about other countries, but Indians are very fond of drinking tea. If I talk about the urban areas of India, people generally offer tea and biscuit first to their guest.
Even in village side I find the same process is followed by people. However, tea is easily available in home, but what about those who are working in outside. They depend on tea stalls that are easily accessible in the city area. People working in corporate house get tea or coffee from there office, still they like to drink tea from tea stall. Do you like to drink tea from tea stall?
