DIY Arnica Bath Soak for Relieving Back and Body Aches Naturally

in Natural Medicine4 years ago

Sometimes we can get back and body pains from the cold or simply overworking our bodies. A homemade bath soak we can make and use to help relieve our back and body pains is an arnica bath soak. Arnica is a natural herb that contains anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties that can help comfort and soothe the body's aches and pains naturally.

Arnica Bath Soak Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of arnica oil,
  • 15 drops of menthol oil,
  • 10 drops of peppermint oil
  • 1 cup of vanilla extract.

The menthol and peppermint help soothe the aches and pains in the body with a natural cooling sensation, and the vanilla extract unbelievably contains medicinal properties in it as well that help eases aches and pains while relieving stress and tension. You can find all this basic ingredients in most grocery stores and herbal shops. Heck, now days you can even get these ingredients online.

Preparation:

Now I find the easiest way to make the arnica bath soak is by pouring all the ingredients into a bottle or jar and giving them a good gentle shake together until I get a slightly brownish golden arnica bath soak with a peppermint scent. After, I like to take the bath soak into the bathroom and use it right away.

To make the soothing bath with the arnica bath soak all you do is feel up the bathtub with comfortably hot water and add in the entire bath soak. Next swish the bath soak around with your hands until it is even distributed throughout the bathwater and releasing a sweet mint vanilla scent into the air. After, get into the arnica bath and soak for as long as you can, or until the back and body aches begin to go away. Usually when I take a bath in this soak my back and body aches go away within 20 minutes so it is reasonable to say 30 to 45 minutes is needed for a good bath soaking to relieve back and body pains naturally. Now after the bath, it is best to pat the skin dry, toss on some comfortable clothing and hope into bed and rest, which means I recommend you do this bath soak at nighttime.

So, next time you run into back and body pains do not run to the store to get back and body pain relievers that might not work and cause side effects. Instead, go to the store and get ingredients to make a homemade arnica bath soak that is excellent for relieving back and body aches naturally.
