@trucklife-family reminded me that it's the equinox. Autumn in the north and spring in the south. As uncertainty continues around us, perhaps it's a good reminder to ground ourselves.

Things happening in the community.

The latest @ecotrain question asks us what it is about music. Does music soothe your soul? What does music mean to you?

Some highlights of the week

It's been about 37 years since @goldenoakfarm acquired their land and this week they shared the history of their time there and how they've adapted it to work best for them as circumstances have changed over the years. Something that is probably important as you age in this type of lifestyle.

@johndoer123 is in the process of building a cabin and the latest instalment discusses the solar and installing the main crossbeam.

So we may not all be in a situation where we have whey, but if you do end up in that situation @springworth has 5 ways you can use it, rather than letting it go down the drain. Also, if you've never encountered brown cheese then that's another reason to take a peek.

There are many different approaches to gardening and different methods suit different environments and lifestyles. @homestead-guru shares some bio-intensive gardening methods which are said to improve cropping.

Each week one of our featured authors will be selected to be a 5% beneficiary of The Lotus Garden newsletter. This week @springworth will receive this award.

Thank you for stopping by. This week's newsletter was brought to you by @minismallholding.

Great collection @minismallholding.

I would definitely be glad to live in that small cabin in the forest, especially after living in only capital cities the last two years.
