Eggheads Part 2 - Tired of the Trolls - Another Day in the Life of Hypersensitivosaurus

The following is a continuation of Eggheads! The story of a Hangry Dinosaur. If you haven't read that cheesy story already, make sure to do so first.

Hypersensitivosaurus was devouring the meat like there was no tomorrow. The oviraptor tasted a lot like chicken, possibly because of its diet that mainly consisted of eggs. And - truth be told - after such a long time without any meat or even fish, he couldn't resist this feeling.

It made him eat like an animal, a beast - the carnivore that he had always been, no matter how much he had tried to change.

Something felt off though. He was enjoying the meal way too much. This wasn't him! What had caused this feeding frenzy and the vicious hunt that had preceded it? Had he killed this harmless creature, just because it had stolen his Gouda cheese: purely out of vengeance?

This wasn't right! What was happening to him? Was he going insane?

He woke up bathing in sweat and it took him a while to realize that the aforementioned wasn't reality, that it all had just been a bad dream. The nightmare had felt way too real though. He moved his lizard like tongue around in his mouth, ran it over his teeth and licked the lips that he didn't have. There was no taste of blood, no traces of meat to be found, but that didn't make him feel any better. Even if this had just been a dream and it sure seemed like it, he didn't like it at all. It made him feel terrible.

Some days he just felt like staying in bed, hibernating forever and ever and ever.
This was such a day.

The sun might be shining outside but there was so much heavy energy in the air that it seemed almost impossible to breathe - it was suffocating him.

Lately it seemed as if everybody was butting heads, not just the triceratopses and their horned brothers and sisters. The negative energy in the air had multiplied itself, spreading like a virus and bringing out the worst in each and everyone.

There seemed to be trolls under every bridge and where in the past they had only come out at night, they now showed their ugly faces in bright daylight too - all too keen to feed their Ego, always hungry for attention.

Just the thought of it, of these energy vampires outside his cave, drained him. He let out a heavy sigh and rolled around on his sweat soaked bed. This was the opposite of how he tried to start his day but he was only human no robot and reminded himself that it was okay to not feel okay every now and then. That this was only a feeling and the best he could do was to accept it, to not resist it. It might seem like a windless day but eventually this feeling would pass, just like a drifting cloud.

No matter what, tomorrow would be another day.

A few minutes ago, while i was reading your post, a friend of mine sent me a message reads: I feel today will be one of those days that even my coffee will need a coffee.
Yeah, we are no robots, and hopefully, tomorrow will be another day.

I feel today will be one of those days that even my coffee will need a coffee.

I will keep that one in mind :<)

I had two coffees myself late this morning, not too long before writing the above story.

and hopefully, tomorrow will be another day.

Tomorrow is always another day ;<)

Thanks for reaching out

❤️

today will be one of those days that even my coffee will need a coffee.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA love it, that was me a couple of days ago XD

The Ego can be quite voracious. That's why is always good to work towards silencing it slowly day by day. Have a lovely week Vincent!

True that :<)

I wish you a lovely week too.

Hugs lil Hyper. There's still a lot of good out here, too. Sometimes even the sun gets eclipsed for a short while, but it always shines again! 💚

The hugs are appreciated ( and you know he would hug back if it weren't for his short arms and razorsharp claws ).

And definitely, the sun is a trustworthy friend.

I got a big hug from my niece Saturday after not seeing her for three weeks (she started preschool), so my cup is full enough to give a little extra out right now. ;)

Awesome to hear that. Have an amazing week, Katie.

Maybe he does need to eat meat D:

If Hyper doesn't have a busy day maybe a day in bed will be just what he needs to rebalance things. Or even if he does maybe he can cancel and reschedule everything. Did he end up finding more cheese? Or whatever food as from memory last episode he was either looking for more food or for the oviraptors XD

He didn't find any more cheese and didn't spend the day in bed ( the latter wouldn't help him to find cheese either, unless it was hidden underneath his blankets / banana leaves or whatever he sleeps under.

Sending massive luminous energy to our dinosaur friend so that he might empower himself to the point no energy vampires can influence him.
