Hoy les compartire tips sobre el manejo del cultivo Cacao de forma orgánica. El mundo cada vez tiende al consumo de alimentos más sanos y de esta no escapa el Cacao ya que es considerado como un alimento, el cual aporta nutrientes, vitaminas, grasas sanas y es utilizado en la medicina y en arte culinario ( repostería, pastelería, cocina, heladera y confitería) aportando su deliciosas propiedades.
La manera de disfrutarlo de forma sana es manejandolo orgánicamente, y esto seria minimizando el uso de productos Químicos, cuyos radicales afectan la salud del ser humano.
Manejar orgánicamente el Cacao debe empezar desde el productor, el cual es capacitado en: La elaboración de todos los insumos que se aplican para una mayor producción, estos son:
a) Elaboración de fertilizante Orgánico, tanto sólidos cómo Líquidos, utilizando restos de vegetales y la cría de la Lombriz roja Californiana.
b) Elaboración de funguicidas e Insecticidas, utilizando las propiedades de plantas que existen en la finca y sus alrededores.
El resultado de todo esté proceso, es llevar al paladar mundial un producto completamente sano que respeta el derecho a una alimentación libre de tóxicos.
Today I will share with you tips on the management of organic cocoa cultivation. The world increasingly tends to consume healthier foods and Cocoa does not escape from this as it is considered as a food, which provides nutrients, vitamins, healthy fats and is used in medicine and in culinary art (pastry, cakes, cooking, ice cream and confectionery) providing its delicious properties.
The way to enjoy it in a healthy way is to handle it organically, and this would be minimizing the use of chemical products, whose radicals affect the health of the human being.
Handling cocoa organically should start from the producer, which is trained in: The elaboration of all the inputs that are applied for a higher production, these are:
a) Elaboration of organic fertilizer, both solid and liquid, using vegetable waste and the breeding of the red Californian earthworm.
b) Elaboration of fungicides and insecticides, using the properties of plants that exist in the farm and its surroundings.
The result of all this process is to bring to the world's palate a completely healthy product that respects the right to a food free of toxics.

La manera más utilizada por el productor para la elaboración de fertilizante Orgánico sólido es mediante el compostaje, utilizando estructuras de madera llamadas composteros.
Un compostero de un metro cúbico puede dar 300 kilos de abono.
La metodología de aplicación aquí en Venezuela, los productores es la siguiente:
La fertilización foliar se aplica en verano y la fertilización sólida se aplica a entrada y salida de las lluvias, ofreciéndole al cultivo un ciclo completo de nutrición, dando origen a una mayor producción y productividad, frutos, suelos, agua y personas más sanas. Este manejo permite mantener el equilibrio del medio ambiente, ecosistema.
The most common way used by the producer to produce solid organic fertilizer is by composting, using wooden structures called composters.
A one cubic meter composter can yield 300 kilos of compost.
The application methodology here in Venezuela, producers is as follows:
Foliar fertilization is applied in summer and solid fertilization is applied at the entrance and exit of the rains, offering the crop a complete cycle of nutrition, giving rise to higher production and productivity, healthier fruits, soil, water and people. This management allows maintaining the balance of the environment, ecosystem.
