Quarantine Kitchen Day 2

Another day of Quarantine Kitchen and some ideas for you to make your day more delicious.

I´m not on any kind of diet, nor I´m a vegan or a vegetarian. I try to eat healthy, but at the end of the day I eat what I would like to eat. Between my meals I also eat a lot of fruits like, apple, mango, pear, bananas or a handfull of almonds or cashew nuts.

I would never ever try to tell someone else what he has to eat and what not. This post only serves to refresh your menu a little and to bring you new ideas.

So what did I had yesterday?

Breakfast

Egg-Spinach Bagel

Ingredients:
a bagel, eggs, baby spinach, a slice of bacon, onion and cheese

Preparation:
saute the spinach in a pan and put on side, do the same with the onion, fry the bacon until brown and cross, crack two eggs season them with salt and pepper and make a omelette, warm the bagel in the oven, put everything on the bagel and the cheese on top of the hot omelette...enjoy

I had this on Bali after my surf sessions and got addicted to it

Lunch

Mixed greens with peanut sauce

Ingredients:
rice, peanut butter, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, pak choi, carrots, red capsicum...or take any greens you like

Preparation:
cook rice ;)
mix peanut butter, crushed garlic, crushed ginger, soy sauce and put hot water on it until perfect texture, fry all the greens in a pan with olive oil, put peanut sauce on top and let it simmer for a few minutes

My absolute favourite sauce. We´re getting better in preparing it and it´s almost as good as in a Thai restaurant

Dinner

Turkish style breakfast for dinner :)

Ingredients:
some old bread (of course you can also take fresh bread), eggs, feta cheese, olives, paprika, salami (usually we take sucuk which is a spicy turkish beef sausage), paprika, cucumber or whatever is left in the fridge...

Preparation:
crack the eggs, stir and season them, put both sides of the bread in it, put some oil or butter in a pan and fry the bread until golden brown, put everything on a plate and enjoy it together with a Çay (black tea)

Easy dinner and good way to clear out the fridge and your old bread without throwing away

Surf für mich mal, hier darf man nicht mehr, weder Strand noch surfen....
