Ramgoat Dashalong sounds kind of caribbean and mamaki sounds Japanese. I should google some of these to see what they look like. Sounds wonderful. Thanks for sharing. π
Yes, it is indeed a wonderful gift to be able to harvest them from the land. I'm king of interesting combos! Ramgoat Dashalong, which has the most colorful vernacular name of any plant I know, is a medicinal from Central America that is related to Damiana. It gets its name from how it makes male goats act when they eat it. Mamaki is an endemic (found nowhere else) Hawaiian arborescent (tree-like), spineless nettle. It is revered by the Hawaiians as a potent medicial. I love it! I'm happy to share anything I know. It's my honor. pleasure, and privilege to share! Thatβs cool. Itβs hard for me to choose but I do enjoy houjicha (green tea) and I love herbs like mint and chamomile.
