Dulce de duraznos / Sweet of peaches

Hola amigos del mundo. Deseo que todos se encuentren bien. Les quiero presentar una receta de mi país, Grecia, y que me gustaría que la probaran. Es un rico postre frutal súper liviano, refrescante y bastante saludable.

Hello friends of the world. I wish all of you are well. I want to present you a recipe from my country, Greece, and that I would like you to try. It is a super light, refreshing and quite healthy fruity dessert.

Los ingredientes son los siguientes:

  • 1 Kg de duraznos
  • 200 gr de azúcar
  • 50 gr de mantequilla a temperatura ambiente
  • 100 gr de harina de trigo
  • 2 huevos
  • 3 cucharadas de ron
  • 1/4 de cucharadita de canela en polvo
  • 30 gr de azúcar pulverizada
  • 1/4 de cucharadita de vainilla en polvo

The ingredients are the following:

  • 1 kg of peaches
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • 50 gr of butter at room temperature
  • 100 g of wheat flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of rum
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 30 g of powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla powder

Preparación / Preparation

Desmenuzar los duraznos, picarlos menuditos y colocarlos en la licuadora junto con los 200 gr de azúcar mezclada con la vainilla y la mantequilla.

Crumble the peaches, chop them finely and place them in the blender together with the 200 gr of sugar mixed with the vanilla and the butter.

Licuar hasta que quede como mermelada o rallar los duraznos como yo lo hice porque ahora tengo la licuadora dañada. Incorporar la harina, la canela, el ron y las yemas de los dos huevos.

Blend until it's like jam or grate the peaches like I did because now my blender is broken. Add the flour, cinnamon, rum and the yolks of the two eggs.

Seguir mezclando unos minutos hasta que quede la masa lisa. Precalentamos el horno a º180 y mientras batimos las claras de huevo con una pizca de sal a punto de nieve y lo incorporamos de forma envolvente a la mezcla anterior.

Continue mixing for a few minutes until the dough is smooth. Preheat the oven to º180 and while we beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff and incorporate it in an enveloping way to the previous mixture.

En un molde de 20 cm de diámetro engrasado, colocar la preparación y hornear por 45 minutos.

In a greased 20 cm diameter mold, place the preparation and bake for 45 minutes.

Sacar y dejar enfriar por completo. Espolvorear con azúcar pulverizada y disfrutar de esta delicia.

Take out and let cool completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy this delicacy.
