Thanks for your comment. I cook dumplings for up to 5 minutes.
When the boiling water boils, I throw the dumplings and mix them lightly. Then it will boil and the dumplings will rise to the surface of the boiling water. Another 5 minutes and you're done. Homemade dough cooks quickly.

Oh yes, I remember that from some other kind of dumplings. They fall to the bottom of the pot and then rise. Pretty nifty. 😆
