Korean fusion restaurant in Sydney - Sung by mabasa

in Foodies Bee Hive2 years ago

Half of Sydney's restaurants seem to be in Surry Hill....

Sang by mabasa is also a Korean fusion restaurant located on the corner (?) of Seori Hill.

It seemed to be run by a Korean family.

Again today, I tried several dishes as a tasting course.

  1. Kingfish sashimi, which is indispensable as an appetizer when cooking a dish, this is the first time I see a harmony with brown rice (?). The sauce was explained, but I forgot about it....

  2. Yassam - Ummm... It was an appetizer with Korean pears wrapped in ssam radish, but I wasn't very impressed. Fresh and crunchy flavor.

  3. Ribs that look like meat instead of sashimi? But it was soft and delicious. The quantity is a little small, but it's a tasting course.

  4. Octopus soup - I didn't take a picture. Poached octopus + red bell pepper paste. it's ok.

  1. Bossam - It's delicious, it just tastes like a Korean restaurant street?

  2. Cod roe in stone-grilled rice - It was delicious. The cod roe is very tasty and firm as it is grilled in a stone pot.

  3. Hongsi + Sujeonggwa ice cream - Hongshi ice cream seems to have about 0.1% of the Hongshi flavor. It tastes like vanilla ice cream.

Actually, I am not a culinary expert, so I don't think I can properly assess the quality and perfection of the food.

As a food fighter in the corner of the room, my general opinion is.... Wouldn't it be better to go to a Korean restaurant to eat...?

Of course, it's definitely better than a Korean restaurant in terms of food + visual aspects that require more sincerity to receive limited customers and make a small amount (?). Especially if you have a short mouth and like to eat a variety of foods + it's recommended if you like the atmosphere where you can talk while eating slowly.
