  • In a large saucepan, bring 1 liter of milk to a gentle boil. Add one clove, a bay leaf, cardamom pods, and a small cinnamon stick to infuse the milk with aromatic flavors. Allow the milk to simmer over low heat until it reduces to half the original quantity, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
  • Once the milk has been reduced, add 1/2 cup of milk powder to enhance the creaminess of the pudding.

  • Sweeten the mixture by adding 1/2 cup of sugar, adjusting the amount according to your preference for sweetness.
Stir well to ensure the sugar and milk powder are fully dissolved.

2. Boil and Cool:

  • Allow the milk mixture to boil for a few more minutes, ensuring that the sugar is completely dissolved and the flavors are well incorporated.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool for a while, allowing the flavors to develop further.

3. Add Vermicelli Noodles:

  • Once the milk mixture has cooled slightly, add the vermicelli noodles to the pan.
Stir gently to ensure the noodles are fully submerged in the milk mixture, allowing them to cook and absorb the flavors.

4. Garnish and Serve:

Uuh I never heard before about a vermicelli pudding I always associate vermicelli to waltz food but this looks really a nice and yummy recipe.

It's kind of an Indian thing. But you can try it, it's an easy dessert.

I love kheer and it has been a while since I made them. I never add cardamom to it but that's worth trying!

Absolutely! Adding cardamom adds a delightful twist to kheer. Enjoy your cooking adventure! 🍚😊
