We can climb in the ways that are possible, and we can do this in business purposes, and we can do it in our free time and leisure time. Climbing is something you are using when using the mountains, and using it out in the forests when working with energy, and getting power to businesses and households.

So, someone must have an idea when being engaged with climbing, and we can use much equipment when climbing, and the required equipment is as follows:

  • Belay and Rappel devices.
  • Carabiners.
  • Harnesses.
  • First Aid.
  • Helmets.
  • Mountaineering.
  • PFD's.
  • Ropes,Webbing and Rope bags.

Climbing is just new way of acting when doing things in the mountains and in the forests, and we are moving up and down when using the climbing technique. And we are using our bodies to get exciting and interesting and serious and funny things when being out there in the nature, and sometimes you can use your talents and knowledges to move in nature. And in Norway, several people have been climbing through the human history, for instance the philosopher and the professor Arne Naess. And Peter Wessel Zapffe also did it, and he was a Norwegian author, philosopher, lawyer and mountain climber.

What is the purpose of climbing, and why are we doing these things? Regular climbing can improve stamina and endurance as well as muscle strength. In addition, all the reaching and stretching for holds improves flexibility and agility. Getting out and about in the outdoors, walking to reach the crag you wish to climb on, is also good aerobic exercise. And we are doing the climbing events alone or together with other people, and we should always use our intelligence abilities and our thinking capacity to find what we are doing in the mountains and in the forests, and what we are bringing with us with the necessary equipment.

How did these things really start? The exact origins of rock climbing, like many sports, are unclear. Although rock climbing was an important part of Victorian mountaineering in the Alps, it is generally believed that it was a recreational activity in France, Italy and England at the end of the 19th century.

The really start started in 1886, and it came from a man referred to as “The Father of Rock Climbing” in Britain named Walter Parry Haskett Smith.

Climbing and the intellectual points of climbing with its philosophy is the intellectually stimulating new essays that address the philosophical issues relating to risk, ethics, and other aspects of climbing that are of interest to everyone from novice climbers to seasoned mountaineers. Hence, everyone that is interested can climb, and we can do it when we like, and we have all variants of experiences and knowledges, and therefore some people are good in climbing, and some are not so good.
