Understanding Media and Social Culture

in Education4 years ago (edited)

Medium means the middle, or intermediary. Media is the means by which ideas in one person are transmitted to another through available means. Examples of this are visual, visual and auditory media.

Media is the mirror of a culture. That is why a culture and the media are intertwined. This is because the media are the evolutionary carriers of human culture. Human development and its accompanying media growth can help us understand the true nature of this.

The media is not the monopoly of man. Preliminary studies show that even animals and plants have media. Ex: - Music plants grew well. The Beau Bow theory, derived from animals, and the Ding Dome theory based on the bell, are sufficient to prove this point.

The influence of the media on man is immense. The media is clinging to his everyday life. That is why the media are said to be "the watchmen of the democratic system." The media is a link to the times. They are the embodiment of culture. Are intermediaries of family relationships. Media is an important part of human personality… and thus the definitions for the media.

The beginning and development of the media has gone through many stages. It can be inferred that from the sign language to the asylum art, from the paper writing to the writing on the wall, to the imitation of sound.

This is a period of speed. In a short space of time and distance, this big world is being held by little humans. There is a patch of pervasive tendency to leave the old ones and move on to the new. This is not unique to the media.

As the speed of the slowly rotating time cycle increased, so did the speed of the media. The media is a great companion for ideas and world knowledge acquisition. We go through a lot of media in our daily lives. You may find them convenient and difficult.

The growth of the media has a different feel and shape. It varies according to place and time. Let us examine some of the techniques of media culture that move with time.

Newspapers

Newspapers were established in the early 16th and early 17th centuries, a reliable medium that brought the world's attention to the early morning. Newspapers are one of the most popular media. It provides knowledge about all areas of politics, economics and social as well as discusses them.

Books

Books were born with the invention of the printing machine. Books continue to be an immortal medium. There is no death. The minimum exists through repetition.

Radio

Radio is a fascinating listening medium. This medium of hearing has become very popular as it can be used indoors or outdoors.

Television

Television, which is an audio-visual mix, is more sensitive. Sitting in the living room or in the vehicle, this big world, the little TV in front of you, Looking through it. The medium has the nickname 'Fool's Box' and has the magical power to turn man into his circle of influence.

Telephone

Telephone, is a very popular medium, even in villages, and has become a visual and auditory medium. Two people can communicate over and over by phone. This is a significant advantage.

Computer

The head of a computer machine, who came up with the calculation model, has become an indispensable medium for man. The object behind the launch and operation of artificial satellites is nothing but a computer. The inventions of the Internet and e-mail have transformed this old-fashioned land into a world of gods.

Cinema

Cinema is a living medium that portrays the life of man. These can influence a person's life.

Electronic media

The electronic media has become a necessity of this fast-paced era. Depending on the nature of the media, the fortunes and gains resulting from them are different. From electronics that can be purchased for a modest amount of money, to the billions worth of electronics today. In today's context, electronic media is the most influential medium for man. It can be regarded as an indispensable medium. Electronic devices are available for everything from knowledge to entertainment. To illustrate: In the past, to make a tea, there were many complex steps. Fireplace, firewood, fire,… and many more. Time is with them too. If you have an electric heater today, be ready for the moment. There is milk powder instead of milk. No fire to boil water; The current is sufficient. This goes for the use of electronic media.

The new media culture is a pleasure and hope for man. But we cannot pretend that we do not see the horror of anxiety that grows with them. One of the most dependent factors on the parasitic man is the media. While the media helps humanity in a number of useful areas, the ill- effects of it are not uncommon.

The media is a boon and a curse. The city is not a culture of the country. The culture of a whole country is not the culture of the town. This is the difference between countries. Culture of electronic media is greatly affecting the culture. The interplay between cultures is the contribution of the media. This brings together two cultures that can never be reconciled. The native culture is destroyed. This media culture of overcoming discrimination is detrimental. Here man must use his discernment power to choose the good.

The media act as spokespersons of knowledge. World information can be found inside the home via the Internet. One of the disadvantages is that moral decay is caused by society in an attempt to blindly imitate the media like Cinema.

Another result of the new media culture is consumption culture and commercialism. This is accomplished by the media conquering the human consumption mind through advertising and temptation.

Discussions on various issues in the media are ongoing. But is there a cure for this? Families are the basic elements of society. From time to time as the new media culture grows, we can only look forward to the breakdown of family relationships. Do we need a culture where human relationships cannot be strengthened? Whether there is much debate and many papers being presented, it is doubtful that a solution to this problem will be found. But media culture is moving ahead; Seeking out new technologies…
