By the end of the lesson, the learners should know the meaning of Reproduction and Reproduction in mosquitoes.
Previous Knowledge:
The teacher will ask the learners to try to think about the various insects in their environment and where it's common to find such insect as well as the relevance of the insect.

Presentation:
Step 1: Meaning of Reproduction
Reproduction is the process by which animals and human produce younger ones. Reproduction is an essential part of life because without it, the human and some animal specie would have gone extinct.
However, due to the imbalance in the animal kingdom and ecosystem, some species of animals, insects and plants have failed to to reproduce.
Step 2: Reproduction in Mosquito
Insects reproduce by sexual reproduction. After mating, the female mosquito lays it's eggs in a stagnant water on a pond. After two to three days, the eggs hatch from larvae, which change to pupae and then the adult mosquito flies out. The rest is dark places during the day and come out to feed at night on human blood.
Step 3: The Life Cycle of Mosquito.
Evaluation:
In order to test the learner's level of understanding, the teacher will ask the learners question like "meaning of meaning of reproduction and the life cycle of mosquito.

What is Reproduction?
How many days does the egg take before it hatches?
What is the name of the female mosquito?
Draw a life cycle of a mosquito.
