Newton's Third Law of Motion, which states as "every action has an opposite reaction" is often used as a metaphor for the law of karma, which suggests that every action we take will have a corresponding consequence or "reaction" in our life. The concept highlights that we are accountable for our actions because they will eventually lead to a result, whether positive or negative. This makes it important to make an assessment of the outcome before committing anything. In this aspect Sanskrit says ;
अविचारेण यत्कर्म कृतं तन्मर्मकृन्तनं |
प्रहस्य सीताहरणादतीता रावणश्रियः||

Avichaarena yatkarma krutam tanmarmakruntanam.
Prahasya Sitaharanaadateetaa Ravamashriyah.
Avichaara = due to thoughtlessness.
Yatkarma = yad + karma.
Yad = whatever.
Karma = action, deed.
Krutam = done.
Tanmarmakruntanam = Tad + marma + kruntanam.
Tad = then, consequently.
Marma = vulnerable point.
Kruntanam = cutting, hurting.
Prahasya = having laughed loudly.
Seetaaharanaadateeta = seetaa + haranaat + ateetaa.
Seeta = name of the spouse of Lord Rama.
Haranaat = abduction.
Ateetaa = gone by, afterwards.
Raavanashriyah = Raavana + shriyah.
Ravana = Demon King Ravana of Lanka.
Shriyah = majesty.
i.e. Any action taken without careful consideration is heartbreaking. Look, the mighty Ravana, who once boasted with pride, was reduced to a pitiable state after abducting Lord Rama's wife, Goddess Sita (and ultimately killed by Sri Rama).
An action undertaken without proper thought about its pros and cons, is always hard hitting at his most vulnerable spot or point. This makes it important to consider the pros and cons of any action because this process is a structured approach to decision-making that leads to better outcomes, minimizes potential negative consequences, and increases the likelihood of achieving your goals
