Our words defines our character. The better we speak, the better it will reflect our nature, character and also the family backgrounds. We have seen that nowadays, most of the people are getting harsh. They talk rudely and may result in creating a worst atmosphere. It has already been taught to us to speak in polite manner, as it helps in creating a light atmosphere and even may result in creating a sound environment. Our Sanskrit Scholars are too comply with this logic and shared this beautiful verse.

Madhuraa = charming.
Tasyeva = tasya +eva.
Tasya = his.
Eva = really,thus.
Saphalam = successful, having good results.
Tapah = religious austerity, penance. Nochejjeevanti = No chet + jeevanti. Nochet = otherwise.

A person who speaks with eloquence in a pleasing manner, all the penance he undergoes while doing his duties, always brings fruitful results to him. Otherwise animals too thrive by their instinct to remain alive.

This Sanskrit verses deals with eloquence of speech, which faculty differentiates a man from an animal and makes him superior among all living beings. If a person uses harsh and foul language while speaking to others, it results in failure in even those tasks which would have otherwise been accomplished.
