The latest fake is calculated to divert attention from the obvious culprits of the terrorist attack on the underwater gas pipeline Nord Stream.

In its ‘breaking report’ on March 7th, the New York Times spectacularly ‘reveals’ that the terrorist act on the North Stream was committed by… wait for it… a group of six pro-Ukrainian-oriented Ukrainians and Russians!

A favorite joke in Russia is about a Crimean dolphin who carried out an operation of destruction, and at the same time had nothing to do with the Ukrainian Nazi authorities.

But Russia’s official reaction was perfectly reasonable and clear: It is a clumsy attempt to divert attention from the true perpetrators of this terrorist act:

It will be hard job to do for the New York Times. There are a lot of obvious things to cover, such as information from the smartphone iCloud of former British Prime Minister Liz Truss, who boasted to Secretary of State Blinken just minutes after the explosion that “it’s done”:

It will certainly be fun to watch the New York Times squirms in its own lies until Russia does its job in Ukraine, and until the German corporations that owned Nord Stream gather the courage to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Of course, the perpetrators can avoid responsibility in one single case – in the case of a very large and bloody war…
