This is amazing. I'm up to the part where he starts believing himself, about half way through. He sure is in touch with something in the way he figures out the right thing to say to all these people. How does he keep a straight face?!
I'm thinking his fluidity of identity is serving him very well. This is a concept I've been trying on - that I am not one thing, but many things that I ooze through depending on circumstances. Then again, maybe I think too much.
The vision boards are like showing your underwear in public.
Sure, some people might be interested in the stains on your underwear, and that's great, those people are actually pretty hard to find, so you should definitely cherish them.
The Classical Problem of Identity (TCPOI) is one of my favorite topics of conversation.
What you figure out is that even when you are "being 100% authentic" nobody will believe you are being 100% authentic. They only believe you are sincere when you reflect their expectations.
Ah. I am not reflecting most people's expectations at present, bad little citizen of the totalitarian state that I am, and have few friends left. Somehow, I feel comforted by Kumare.
You are the most perfectly you that you can be,...it's not your fault that our forbearers couldn't leave us better than this.
It is only on us to leave it better than we found it.
Though, at this point, I'm about to give up on others ever catching on.
That should be when the change finally occurs, just before admitting defeat.
OK mister I have just spent more than two hours on this post of yours. I still have @antisocialist's video to watch, as well as yours on identity. I need to go for a walk and reconnect with my inner not-self. Hopefully I will be back, because this has been swell.
That doesn't surprise me. We are not allowed to rethink Hitler in any way. Today's con depends on our believing that only Hitler could ever have perpetrated such crimes, so that the actual entities who perpetrated those crimes could continue to perpetrate them all over the world, culminating in today's global eugenic takeover.
But I have to wonder who took that part out? Vikram?

Am I the only one who hates vision boards?

8^) this one's only 3 minutes and 54 seconds.
Thankfully. But it packs a wallop, left me with a feeling of my own bloated self.
He goes back to NYC and obscurity. Has a crisis of identity.
He finally unveils with a simple statement and a new hairdo.
I am not sure what to think of this. Perhaps that's the point. Is there a point? Maybe that there is no point is the point.
That was a great video.
I was shocked that ten of his "disciples" still "believed in him" after the final reveal.
I thought it would have been interesting if he actually let his "disciples" cut his beard and long hair and change his shirt as some sort of "ritual".
Also, that version of the movie available on youtube CUT THE SCENE that sammy described (WTF).

I don't think so.
I think whoever posted the video probably clipped it out.
Well stated.
