I was shocked that ten of his "disciples" still "believed in him" after the final reveal.
I thought it would have been interesting if he actually let his "disciples" cut his beard and long hair and change his shirt as some sort of "ritual".

That doesn't surprise me. We are not allowed to rethink Hitler in any way. Today's con depends on our believing that only Hitler could ever have perpetrated such crimes, so that the actual entities who perpetrated those crimes could continue to perpetrate them all over the world, culminating in today's global eugenic takeover.
