Update on US's Threat of Invading Nigeria

in Deep Dives6 days ago

I made this post some weeks ago about the US invading Nigeria, and in the weeks that have followed there have been new developments and Islamic terrorist attacks that have led to this:

People don't understand the whole aversion to US invasion.

If Nigeria was in a mess on it's own accord and the US says they want to come in and act then the politically aware Nigerian would be compelled to view it as an inconvenience that they need and have to deal with.

But Nigeria is not in a mess of it's own accord, the mess is US sponsored, and they sponsored it so that they can invade and cash in on it and saying they should come is saying they deserve their reward for sponsoring these terrorists.

Everyone knows the playbook:

• See a country that has the resources you want

• Sponsor terrorists or other entities to cause trouble in the country

•Go into the country with the claim that you're fighting those troublemakers. Occupy and have your easy access to the resources therein.

Supporting the US invasion is you wanting them to actually get the fruits of what they did in number 2, and only a fool wants terrorists or their sponsors to get the rewards they terrorized on sponsored terrorism for.

What a wise person wants, instead, is for us to fight the terrorism even with the backing of their powerful sponsors and defeat them on our own. But how possible is this given how powerful their sponsors are, how inept our leaders are, how some of our leaders are also involved in all these, and how our ranks have been infiltrated?

Those two options seems like they are all we have, though: allow the sponsors (US) cash in or fight with all our handicaps.

NB: I hope nobody needs an explanation or argument to support the fact that US followed that exact playbook in this case, we all saw the US Senate hearings about their sponsorship, we all know too that anyone who wants to help a country with an issue like this would not say they want to invade, instead they'll offer covert cooperation without talking to a sovereign nation like the most important is them coming in and imposing their will:

After Trump made this post there have been a lot of opinions all over the place especially pointing to how wrong it is and how he shouldn't do it, plus how there is no Christian genocide in Nigeria but rather untargeted terrorism.

And guess what? After that the terrorism has increased and has become more targeted at the Christians. In fact just yesterday, this video showing terrorists hitting a church in session dropped:

It's as if the terrorists are trying to make it worse so it would be said the US have a point, and the video is for those who are making the arguments against a Christian genocide.

It's unbelievable what is happening and how much shame the US lacks.

Again, I hope no one thinks I'm making accusations, it's all there in the US Senate hearings about the US government sponsorship of terrorism in Nigeria. Even with exposure like that the US is still going on with this playbook because who is going to stand up to them?

The agenda is pretty clear for those that have the eyes to see. They can't play both sides, create the problem and then come again to provide a solution, and still expect the populace to welcome their bidding lol.
