The stone that carried a message

One has to go out to find the adventures... I read it these days in one comment or post... I actually don't remember anymore where. Seriously. But I also think that sometimes one has to enter its own mind and find the adventures there. Or mix both and see what happens 😂

This morning I was just about to leave the apartment and go to the mountain when I remembered a post of mine, written a long time ago but from the same place that I actually visited today. The same valley, filled with water, that turquoise mass of water you see in the first picture. Between two mountains, it reflects the blue colour of the sky, but it is not the same colour. It's a different shade of it. That water that flows between the greenery keeps a secret and some powers that we will now put to the test. Just take my hand and come with me, nothing to be scared of. There will be paths, flowers, lessons, stones... and death. You see, all safe, don't be afraid.

Paths

So, to repeat the first sentence, about going out to have real adventures... you definitely have to take some paths to live those extraordinary experiences. First, we took the path to the elevator and descended to the garage, then turned on the car and kept on driving through the town, traffic, on roads and curves... the landscape changed and we found ourselves in pure nature. Walking down to the lake, taking this cracked road.

IMG_20230414_134347.jpg

We can usually go by car down, but one street in the village through which we had to pass was closed (it will come in a separate story) so we had to use our feet. The descending part was easy. Imagine the same going up, when we decided to go home. Anyway, every path is good, even if it is old and cracked. They give us the opportunity to reach the places where we want to be.

IMG_20230414_190739.jpg

Also, the paths themselves can already give some nice moments, you can look on one side and see trees, fields or bushes with many flowers.

IMG_20230414_110804.jpg

From a closer view, the same little yellow flowers.

IMG_20230414_103701.jpg

The Place

When I reached the lake I chose a place to carry out my plan. Yes, I came here having a plan in my mind... but the success of the same, the results don't depend just on me. I needed a bigger water surface and some stones. This place looked nice and suitable.

IMG_20230414_185913.jpg

I started to look around to find the needed natural items and by one bush I saw a frog. Oh, no, they are not my favourite creatures on this planet. I have to admit, they are not dangerous as scorpions or snakes, but there are toxic ones and also those that can lead you to have some hallucinations.

(I assure you, this frog was not one of those... I think...)

At first, it seemed like an ordinary frog. But we need adventure in this story, so let's imagine that he started to talk to me. Let's imagine too that after some short chit-chat, he promised to convert himself into a prince from a fairy tale. That he would be a charming one and all that stuff. I just assured him that I don't really like frogs, however, I think it killed the poor creature... but don't forget, it all happened just in the imagination!

{if you have some doubts, maybe check out the hidden content...}

Death of a prince

This is the spoiler content.

The Plan

Back to the plan and my efforts to find the needed items.

A long, long time ago my piano teacher (at the University) shared with me a secret. To help me get rid of some thoughts or states, she revealed to me a technique... You see, a piano teacher doesn't teach just how to play the piano. She said me to find a rock, a stone and write on it what I want to get rid of. For example, the fear of playing on the stage. Or something that bothers you and it's a thing you can change with your attitude. Write the word on a stone and throw it away, to a river, sea or lake. It is a psychological trick, but let's try it out now. I found a few stones, to write on them.

IMG_20230414_104432.jpg

What happens lately with me are my frequent migraine episodes. They became worse than last year and happen more often. I remembered the advice my teacher gave me... write a word on a stone and throw it away. I know that sickness can't be solved in this way, but a migraine episode is not an illness, it is a state one suffers. It is many times provoked by stress or when we are more sensitive. Maybe I can help myself by having a different attitude, and not allowing the migraines hit so often.

I chose one stone. Wrote on it the word and...

IMG_20230414_104715.jpg

... and I launched it with energy into this lake. This is the water that keeps now the stone that carried the message. Migraines, go away. Stay there, at the bottom of the lake!

IMG_20230414_185850.jpg

These episodes can be really hard. They challenge my strengths, mind and body. Every episode leaves a few visible wrinkles more, and I have the feeling that my skin already looks like the petals of this flower.

IMG_20230414_105247.jpg

Was it a crazy idea what I did today? I know, for many, it would seem stupid... maybe I just bring some laughter to the readers and it is already a good thing then :))
But let's test this experiment. If anyone wants to join me and try out the same, feel free to do it and let me know if it helps. If not, I hope that these photos from nature at least bring some nice moments to those who open the post!

If there is one thing I have learned over the last few years through much study, it is that ailments are emotional. Migraine is a very big pressure that one has, what you did is nothing crazy, on the contrary it is very healthy, repeat it several times, you will be much better.

I loved this beautiful publication @mipiano ❤️

Hmm, yes, many times there is a connection between our emotional state and illnesses. But I just can't say if it is true for all cases, as I didn't do detailed research, so I can just suppose ;)
I know when I am more stressed or work a lot, my neck suffers. Then I go to my physiotherapist and first, he asks me a million questions about how my life goes :D
Just later he does therapy to the muscles and asks me to learn to breathe properly and do physical activity regularly. Some sports, but I tend to forget it 😬

The same thing also happens to me, I usually help myself with walks and walks along the shore of the beach, the contact of the feet with the earth helps a lot, it is a discharge to earth of that energy that is not good. ❤️

The contact of feet with the earth and discharging the energy... or maybe we can think about getting some good energy from the mother nature? There is something in that, I know someone who likes to walk barefoot, well even jog barefoot. A very good person btw, would not step on an ant. :))

I also like to go on foot, especially on land or sand, it's a great release and then the sea charges me with positive energy!❤️

It is true that one must go out and adventure, because we will find life fun and amazing.
This is amazing nature, very beautiful.

Adventures can be found in many places, but these in nature are my favourite ones ;) Indeed, it is beautiful nature that we can find in our surroundings 😇

Interesting your way to defeat the headache!
I will try it next time too!
Of course with scenery like that and water of that color, the headache absolutely goes away!

Would you try it out? Well, if my experiment doesn't work out then I will still live it the migraine, I guess ;)
Or, as you say, just walking there our headaches could go away 😇

Manually curated by EwkaW from the @qurator Team. Keep up the good work!

Obrigada @ewkaw 😉

De nada :)

Hahaha, made me smile with this de nada 😁
But I guess we will stay with English lol
I mean, "obrigada" is the only word I remember from the Portuguese ;)

You also know "de nada" - its the same in both ;)
But English is fine by me, before I start butchering Spanish 😂

I enjoy reading and also the photos. Sometimes it makes you laugh, sometimes you reflect and always enjoy. In addition to a tremendous desire to visit those places. something that in a small Caribbean island like Cuba is a bit difficult.

Indeed, our posts sometimes bring fun, or reflection, or some kind of enjoyment. Maybe I don't achieve many times to bring nice vibes, but I think the intention is here.

I am sure that your country is beautiful, well, I have never been to Cuba but my aunt and her husband went there several times and said that it was the place where they were received always in the best way!

Thank you for your comment @yanerkidiaz , I hope you are having a nice weekend 👋

I did laugh out loud at the 'my skin already looks like the petals of this flower'... that poor flower looks really crumpled !!

  • but there are toxic ones and also those that can lead you to have some hallucinations* ...... only if you lick them {grin}

That was a clever trick that you did with the 'spoiler alert' ..{frown creases manly visage... brow resembles crumpled flower}

Yeah, you see how the flower is. 😅
But believe me, I am not far away from looking like that. Seriously.

Ok, let's go to a joking part of the comment 😁 So you actually know about those frogs hahaha and how to get that effect. Should I ask why do you know that? 😂

The spoiler thing. I am seeing it lately, people use it to put the text in another language, or similar, it's cool. I thought that it would be good to hide that ugly photo of the poor dead creature. I was scared from it too, so... 😂
We all learn, it's a process... and I also think this option wasn't available earlier... But I am not sure anymore.

But believe me, I am not far away from looking like that. Seriously. ....

I don't believe you for even one nanosecond {smile}

Hahaha, nanosecond 😆

Well, well... I like this publication. Honestly, some people may not like the image of the prince, but (I must confess... let's put it in small letters...) it gave me a good laugh. The poor thing, maybe nobody killed her, she just died and that's it.

Claro que la flor arrugada tenía que ser morada, me dije. jajaja ay mipiano. Eres mucho piano.

There were three stones, did you only throw one in the river? why don't you say what you put in the other two? or are you only looking for three to choose one? I was left wondering. hahaha.... ah, verdad. Una, la más grande, para el Sr. Mipiano, la más pequeña para Mipianito. Ya entendí.

;)

I don't like the image of the dead prince 😂 so first of all I had to hide it from myself. I think it would be me who would die in the end while writing the post and seeing all the time the poor dead creature. But I am more than glad it brought a good laugh to you ;)

I found a few stones, then I made a selection and then chose just one to write on it. But it's not a bad interpretation, for each of us in the family one stone. The boys would probably write different things and not the word migraine.

If trees, water, flowers, everything can be seen in one place, then the heart of a person becomes very happy.

;)

I almost forgot; in the fourth picture... it looks like something fell from the sky (what could it be?).

😂😂😂

You mean that little tiny line in the right corner? Could be a cable hahaha

Bueno, si eso es lo que quieres ver... ok. Pero hablo de la línea blanca en el cielo. Ne legyen többé kusza kábel, kérem.

Well, I didn't understand what you asked. So the white line, creo que pasó un avión y dejo esta marca.

Beautiful lines as always, full of that very characteristic eloquence of yours when you write... I sincerely enjoyed reading this... Please be more kind to those poor frogs, they can actually be lovely!... ha ha ha :)). .. You know?... I was surprised to read that you threw your migraine on a stone into the lake... Back in 2005 (Yes, I remember correctly) I suffered a severe episode of work stress and my therapist (who once a yoga and swimming teacher as well as my physiatrist) used to "write" patients' problems on paper and then burn them. Other times he told us to visualize our problems like his if we put them in a basket with balloons and let them fly away. I think there is some effectiveness in doing that kind of "symbolic things" with all those who distress us... By the way, beautiful photos, especially those of "the path"... Always the path... I love the path. .. ;) Thank you very much for sharing @mipiano friend... Reading your article made my afternoon better... Sending hugs and blessings for you and near people.

@mipiano! Your Content Is Awesome so I just sent 1 $BBH (Bitcoin Backed Hive) to your account on behalf of @jlinaresp. (1/5)

Thank you @jlinaresp , I am glad you enjoyed reading it and I am sorry for the frog... They probably can be sweet, I don't know, it is just I am not really a fan of them and this poor one was already dead when I saw it :(
I tried to bring some fun, to transform that find into something funny, or I don't know was it funny at all.

About the stone and the similar techniques, thank you for understanding. I actually know that I can't change that, they will still come and I just live with them. But sometimes I do wish they don't even exist. For me and for all those other people who suffer from migraines... The basket with the ballon and letting them fly away seems a more pleasant technique than this with the stone, I think.

Thank you for your words and the same to you 😇

For some minute I thought you will kiss the little frog that would be epic 😂😂🤭🤭 pour thing 😅

I think I would need a really big rock , I want to put in it the name of the people who are destroy my country and some people who no allowed me to go to Valencia 😅😅😅 pour lake would be full of bad people 🤣🤣🤣

I Hope your migraine disappear forever!! 😃

I could not do that, of course, the kissing the frog part. You remember the mafia post, it would be torture for me... 😂

Yeah, I know... there would be many things people would write and throw into the water. I thought I would bring some good vibes, wishing that migraines don't exist anymore.

And I thank you for your hopes, I already know these migraines will not go away. We have to live with them.

Oh man, I so wish you can sort out somehow the papers for visiting Spain. Those are real struggles, not my tonterias... Thank you @pumarte for reading, un abrazo desde aquí

Gracias 🙏🙏

It seems to me a super creative and interesting idea, throwing the stone into the river with what you want to get rid of seems super therapeutic, apart from the fact that the visit to that place is already therapeutic. I understand your word on the stone, my partner suffers from migraines and a friend too and their episodes are quite strong and the most difficult thing to discover is the trigger, sometimes it seems to be anything. but I'm sure these adventures do you a lot of good so don't stop doing it, it's the best therapy 🙃😉😀

It can be therapeutic, that is true. And also, visiting that lake, the valley, and the mountains I like so much is already a blessing. I am sorry to hear that your partner also suffers from migraines, I think I am like a magnet to meet other people with the same condition. :/
I hoped this gesture would inspire others to do the same, so we collectively get rid of these migraine episodes :)
Thank you for reading and for your comment!

crazy-idea-i-know

It's not a crazy idea at all, and I see many people before me have already said it. In my country, where magic and spells are found and practiced very often (they are even intertwined with pagan-religious rituals), rituals related to "throwing away" or "getting rid" of something always contain a pool of water, but in most cases it is running water (the current of a river), not a stagnant lake. (Well, I learned something new from you today and I'm so grateful! You can't imagine!)
While reading your post, I first thought of these cute Sorgenfresser or Worry eaters that I saw in a bookstore in Belgium years ago, and apparently they are practiced with children and I find the idea so wonderful. But then I also thought of all these magical practices of throwing into a flowing river an "enchanted" object, an object that collected all your "problems". And it's not just about worries. Why not for diseases too? Let's see! I hope you will share the result of this ritual in a next post. And I hope it will help!

Coming to your comment with a little delay, my apologies @soulsdetour 🙏

Our traditions are a mixture of many rituals, pagan, religious, or social beliefs practised through centuries, though it also depends on the area and country. In some countries, it is more marked and in others less. Worry eaters? I had to check what it was, I didn't know about their existence. This stone thing is an idea my teacher gave me, to help throw away some fears (playing for the audience, fear of mistakes, before exams etc...) and thoughts we can change actually with our own attitude. But guess what!? I didn't have any migraine episodes since that day, and it is a huge success already for me. Not saying that it will not come back, as it always does, but let's remain in this belief that at the moment this stone works 😇
It should sleep there at the bottom of the lake as long as possible :))

Thank you for your wonderful and encouraging comment, and once again, my apologies for the three-day delayed response 😌

P.S. I forgot to mention - I noticed you read my tag and started your comment with it. Thank you! 😉

No worries, I too saw your post late due to oversight 😌
I'm so happy for you, as I personally believe in these "rituals" and believe that each one of us has the power to change and create things. Of course, everything requires attention and time, which we would hardly spare, either because of laziness, because of being too busy or something else. But the most important thing is when a person puts themselves together and tries to do something on their own. Something good for themselves. And you did it. And this cannot stay without consequences. There will be some. Some good ones! 😊

One of the laws of the universe - every action has a reaction :))
I hope the good one will last for some time 😇
Thank you for your understanding, hope you are doing well 🤗

Not a crazy idea at all, I've done similar things in the past, but then with paper and burn it. I strongly believe in the power of the universe and have seen successes numerous times, so this stone in the water and letting it go thing is not as weird as you think :)

I hope you will soon be from from migraine, I know the feeling and I don't wish it on anybody!

Sorry to hear that you also know the feeling when a migraine hits... Would be great if the migraines of everyone could be solved with just one thrown-away stone, but, life brings some suffering when it wants. Still, the idea of letting go of the emotional pain, anxiety, and fears, although all that needs a lot of work on ourselves, through these gestures bring some healing. Can be a piece of paper we burn, a message on paper we let the wind or air take away, or a stone on the bottom of a river or lake, it is just the symbol.

My apologies for getting back a bit late to your comment on this post 🙏 and I hope the little beans are behaving well hehehe

Hey never apologize for that, life happens :)

And I agree with all you said above..

The beans have had diarrhea since yesterday, which is normal as they were found in a garbage bin when they were a week old so usually, it happens. They will be treated later today, we will soon have a military operation to clean the playpen and bathe them.

But they are a bundle of joy! Thanks for asking <3

Have a lovely day!!

Oh no, now indeed a military operation to clean them and everything :D

But I do know they are a joy. 😇

My husband started to feed a bird on the balcony a few days ago. (sight)
If he wants to take care of a pet, why not a cat then, I was complaining hahaha. 😁

The place looks like a paradise. If I was you, I’ll go every month. To learn more of the nature and telling us more histories.

  • El lugar parece un paraíso. Si yo fuera tú, iría todos los meses. Para aprender más sobre la naturaleza y contarnos mas historias interesantes.

I would go even every day 😁... but it is not possible.
It teaches us to enjoy the good moments that we get, like the landscape from that place.
Muchas gracias por leer y por tu visits @denisda

Greetings. I really enjoyed the tour you gave us, i thought it was a very good adventure.

I think the whole process you go through to throw that rock is therapeutic. It serves as recreation, helps to distract the mind and as a physical activity. But, keeping the goal of writing that message on the rock, on a special rock really makes it an adventure.

!LUV

Hi there @flquin

A good adventure? Maybe it could finish better, the poor frog didn't have to die, but I found it already like that.

I will try to think that it can be therapeutic, at least that is how my teacher tried to help me. But it was a long time ago ;)
I am not sure when I will go again there, but I do like that lake and mountain...

Thank you for reading and your comment, greetings 😇

Beautiful scenery, I love exploring such this thing too. Amazing how this place exists in ourselves world. By the way, the frog I can’t assume of why it died. This is a very cool content.

The frog - who knows why he died. 😁 I just found him there, in that state. I agree with you, nature is a great place to explore around 😇

Pretty good picture capture. Keep the spirit friends even though you have to walk because there are roads that have been closed.. I really like the beautiful views that this friend has shown me.

That walking part, going up was not that impossible in the end. ;) Thanks for stopping by @mnurhiver 👋

hehehehe..yes. if we walk when we see an incline, of course the question will arise whether it is possible for me to go up. Even if it's already running, it doesn't feel like it's already at the top. 😄👍❤️

From the way we see the place you have visited is very beautiful and natural scenery makes one's heart feel very beautiful and such places have very beautiful designed stones which By the way you have also talked about a stone. If trees, water, flowers, everything can be seen in one place, then the heart of a person becomes very happy.

Thank you, I appreciate your comment and yes, if we are in nature and surrounded by these things we should appreciate it and be already happy. Thank you, yes the place is vary nice, I like spending a day by that lake.

Most welcome.

Beautiful scenery. Just coming here, seems like my problems gonna go right away. :D

Glad to hear that, it is a beautiful place and full of calmness. I wish I could spend more time there. Thanks for your visit @itravelrox 😊

You're welcome. so lucky!

Beautiful day 🌸☀️

It was indeed 🌸

🥰🌸
