General Knowledge
So as many of you know i live in Greece and Greece right now is past the first wave of Covid-19. That means that everything is opened again and ofc some measures are taking place!
As you can image some of the measures are to wear mask when you are in trains or buses as well as for employees of restaurants,cafeterias and most of the shops. Also, many people are still working from home!
Now regarding the weekly questions, we have to take a couple of things into account before i give you my answer. That way i believe you will get in my shoes, or at least i hope so!
Greeks are people that can't just say a hi as a greet. Not only we talk a lot and loud when greeting but we also shake hands, hug and give kisses, especially the women! To get into your brains just imagine the following dialog taking place in Greece and in an more "cold" country!
"Cold" Country
Person 1 "hi how are you"
Person 2 "Great and you?"
Greece
Man 1 " WOWOW hello mateee! How are you? You lost some weights" and shake hands
Man 2 "Helloooo i am fucking great you??? yeah man i started working out!" and shake hands like bros
It can be "worst" than that :P
During Quarantine
Now during the quarantine and because of the strict measures all these kind of gestures slowly but steadily stopped. The main reasons that this happened was because people were afraid that would get infected as well as that would infect their loved ones.
After Quarantine
The truth is that when the economy opened again, we all forgοt these kind of restrictions quite fast to be honest. This includes me as well. It's like we never got them in first place. Not only that, all the cafeterias were crowded in a matter of seconds!
It turns out that it's quite hard to nearly impossible to cut some habits that we are all following since we were kids. The "funny" thing is that when tourists see that kinds of reactions, they feel a little bit strange but like it at the end. Now i think they will be afraid and will give us the look!
In other words i am a Hugger!

First of all I must say that Greece is a beautiful place and people are so warm and friendly out there. It was around 3 years back when I visited there and had a very pleasant time.
I believe that our freedom is most important to us, it is our natural state of being, so as soon as we get the opportunity, we flow into it.
Personally I feel it's good that people forget these times and get back to their normal self which is in the state of being in love and happiness.
