It's getting pretty good around here.
In our life, we've got a long way to go.... but we've come a long way too. I try to not just long for the future, but rather to enjoy each moment, and not miss out on the present. Part of that comes from pausing or slowing down periodically, and some from just having a mindset aware of it.'
We've always got a lot going on, and compared to a lot of families, there are a lot of us. It's easy to get lost in the shuffle for any of us, wo we intentionally strive to avoid that ahead of time. Here's a handful of photos of "Belle-Pepper" and "Buddy-Pepper" hanging out with "Apocalypse," one of our young Jacob's Sheep rams, and enjoying some raw rhubarb stems while watching a campfire. (Also, Belle's "incredibly happy face" can look like an "incredibly terrified face," so don't misread that, she's just really excited around the baby animals) Anyway, it's a simple life, but rewarding.
