I Am Getting So Close Now! Got Stuff In And Will Out On Road Soon.

in The Alliance3 years ago

Hello All! I hope this post finds you in good spirits and in good health. Things are progressing here with me getting started on the road. I know it has been a while and it takes time to get everything in order to get on the road. I have had to do finish some medical things up and was waiting on things to arrive that I ordered. We all know that Christmas was a madhouse with online orders, along with people ordering because of the other things going on in the world today. It took some time for everything to come in. I had to order about everything because it is wintertime and the camping supplies are all out, pretty much, at retailer stores.

I wanted to make a post and show you some of the things I will be using. Most of them are normal things for camping. I found one thing that is really cool and will make my life much easier. It was the most expensive thing I had to get but it is worth it in the long run.

I ordered it from ACOPOWER and it was a solar generator and also a 105-watt solar panel. I could have used any solar panel but this one was made for this solar generator and plugs in directly with no adapter cables. It is a 400 Watt Hour solar generator. Which is 33 Amp Hours. About what you would get with an AGM 100 Amp Hour battery, this solar generator is much smaller than an AGM battery, and no worries of pulling too much power from an AGM and messing up the battery.

This is a little lifesaver no matter what you are doing. I got it mainly to run my Bi-Pap machine. I ordered a 12-volt plug adapter and it runs my Bi-Pap for three nights and still some charge left to charge my drone batteries. If you want to look into this solar generator and other things go check them out at http://www.acopower.com. If you decide to make a purchase use my coupon code AMBIGUITY and you will get 10% off of your purchase. There are a lot of things on this website so go over and check it out.

I was at home depot and was going to get a little grill from a popular brand name and saw this on. It was a little smaller and had a latch to hold the lid shut when storing it. The others did not and it would have been fun trying to keep up with the lid. It also had a top rack for warming up buns or doing corn or other vegetables. It was cheaper and looks like it is the same build quality as the popular name brands.

I got the classic camp stove for using to heat water and warm things up. I need my coffee, as right now it is cold. I can cook many things on this, as many of you know. There are many other things like blankets, sleeping bags, a teapot, and pots and pans. I will be getting some cast iron pans and a dutch oven at a later date for cooking on an open fire. I will use a french press for coffee as it seems the easiest way to do that.

I know that @c0ff33a roasts and sells coffee but is in the U.K and shipping can get expensive if you are in the states, I would assume. I found a veteran company in Texas that also does the coffee thing and the Whiskey coffee they have is really good. If you want to check them out I will leave a link for a then here also. https://www.invadercoffee.com You can use the coupon code AMBIGUITY there too and save 15% off your order.

I do not use many links like this but it helps you if you want these items and in turn, it helps me out, with getting and being on the road. Thanks!

I am pretty much set up and ready to go. So soon you will be getting videos of the places I go and see. Be patient as I will be using my smartphone for the pictures and the videos. As I go along I will get better camera equipment and I hope to be getting a box truck to fix up and not just using a pickup truck. If I get a box truck it will be converted on the road, so it should be an interesting time. I know it is slow but I am moving forward and it will be an exciting journey. I hope everyone has a wonderful night/day, whatever it is in your part of the world.

That new solar generator setup sounds lot's better then the last battery you had.

It is much better!
But it is over double the price.
I am much happier with this on though.
Thanks!

Dig the new logo and dang man, you about set up pretty good now eh? Do the grills save on power for the vehicle? Is it cheaper to get charcoal and propane vs using the gas from the car for like a conventional stove?

I like using charcoal when cooking things like burgers and pork ribs and such. The propane is not bad and is cheaper per pound than gas. I do not want to carry gas as it is not really in a leakproof container and I do not want to smell it sitting in the back of the truck. If I was going to do that I would have gotten a gas generator to use. Might still get a little propane generator later though.

I am seeing what is going to work right now, I hope to find a way to make it easier on me as I go. Hoping I might find a bus or some other vehicle cheaper as I travel.

Thanks, I kinda like that logo too!
