I've been away from town for a while. I spend the rest of my holiday in the countryside. Buildings blocking my view, hot asphalt, or polluted air... There's none. These kinds of things wear people out over time. We have to endure all of this for reasons such as education, work and health. Most of us do not have our own garden. We are far from the land and animals. They call it civilization! Yes, civilization has carried us forward. This is true. But he stole a lot from us. However, we could synthesize civilization and the old. It turned out something amazing. Thanks to increased knowledge and technology, we could create magnificent cities that looked like villages. Our ambitions did not allow it.

Bir süredir şehirden uzaktayım. Kırsalda tatilimin kalan kısmını geçiriyorum. Manzaramı kapatan binalar, sıcak asfalt, veya kirli hava... Hiçbiri yok. Bu tür şeyler insanı zamanla yoruyor. Eğitim, iş ve sağlık gibi sebepler yüzünden tüm bunlara katlanmak zorunda kalıyoruz. Çoğumuzun kendi bahçesi yok. Topraktan, hayvanlardan uzağız. Buna medeniyet diyorlar! Evet, medeniyet bizi ileriye taşıdı. Bu doğru. Ama bizden çok şey çaldı. Oysaki medeniyet ile eskiyi sentezleyebilirdik. Ortaya muhteşem bir şey çıkardı. Artan bilgi birikimi ve teknoloji sayesinde köylere benzeyen muhteşem şehirler ortaya çıkarabilirdik. Hırslarımız buna izin vermedi.
Animals are not like us. They have their own world. Science says they have no mind. I don't know... That's not certain for me! Their minds are just not like us. It has certain limits. When a flock of lions knows they will be satisfied with one deer, they do not hunt the second. But we get more than we need from nature and people... The thing that makes us do all these evils is the mind!
Hayvanlar bizim gibi değil. Kendi dünyaları var. Onlarda akıl olmadığını söylüyor bilim. Bilmiyorum... Bu benim açımdan kesin olan bir şey değil! Akılları bizim gibi değil sadece. Belli sınırları var. Bir arslan sürüsü bir geyik ile doyacağını bildiğinde ikinciyi avlamıyor. Ama bizler ihtiyacımızdan fazlasını alıyoruz doğadan, insanlardan... Bize tüm bu kötülükleri yaptıran şeyin adı da akıl!
Plants and animals are not the only reason for peace in nature. Where people dwindle, beauty abounds. No, I am not hostile to humanity. I just want to question. Why so? It was always like that, actually, I know that. The thing that bothers me is that it has multiplied. What we call the mind should be reduced. Duplicated! Sometimes I say to people:
"The world is a bad place because of the good (!) who remain silent against evil.
The best thing we can do under these circumstances is to break this huge silence. Have you heard of the butterfly effect? According to this theory, when a butterfly flaps its wings in the Caribbean, earthquakes and tornadoes occur in the Americas. The trigger is just a butterfly!
Every person is a butterfly. Every person who believes enough...
Doğadaki huzurun tek sebebi bitkiler ve hayvanlar değil. İnsanın azaladığı yerde güzellikler çoğalıyor. Hayır, insanlığa düşman değilim. Sorgulamak istiyorum sadece. Neden böyle? Hep böyleydi aslında, bunu biliyorum. Canımı sıkan şey çoğalmış olması. Akıl dediğimiz şey azaltmalıydı. Çoğalttı! Bazen insanlara şunu derim:
"Dünya kötülüğe sessiz kalan iyiler(!) yüzünden kötü bir yerdir.
Bu şartlarda elimizden gelen en güzel şey bu koca sessizliği parçalamak. Kelebek etkisini duydunuz mu? Bu teoriye göre, Karayiplerde bir kelebek kanat çırptığında Amerika kıtasında depremler, hortumlar meydana gelir. Tetikleyici olan sadece bir kelebek!
Her insan bir kelebektir. Yeterince inanmış olan her insan...
