Greetings, my dear Hive Ladies. Happy day to all, I hope you are doing well and enjoying good health and well-being.
My dear @sacra97 invited me to participate this week, so here I am to share my thoughts on edition #265 of the contest. On this occasion, I will answer the second question proposed by our friend @saffisara this week:
2️⃣ Do you feel older or younger than your age?
I am answering this second question precisely because my birthday is coming up, and that always invites me to look inward, to engage in an exercise of self-knowledge with a little more calm. On the 30th of this month, I will celebrate my 55th birthday, and I say this with a smile on my face because I feel great. Over the years, I have come to understand that the joy of living has no age and does not grow old. It is still there, steadfast, ready to appear every day that I am grateful to wake up to.

Mi querida @sacra97 me invitó a participar esta semana, así que por acá estoy para compartir mis reflexiones en la edición #265 del concurso. En esta ocasión, daré respuesta a la segunda pregunta que nos ha propuesto la amiga @saffisara esta semana:
2️⃣ ¿Te sientes mayor o menor para tu edad?
Respondo a esta segunda pregunta precisamente porque estoy próxima a cumplir años, y eso siempre me invita a mirar hacia adentro, a hacer un ejercicio de autoconocimiento con un poquito más de calma. El 30 de este mes celebraré mis 55, y lo digo con una sonrisa a flor de piel porque me siento muy bien. Con los años he comprendido que la alegría de vivir no tiene edad ni se envejece. Sigue ahí, firme, lista para aparecer cada día que agradezco al despertar.
When I think about how many years I've been around, I don't feel that old. Rather, I feel that I'm at a very beautiful and special moment in my life, where life has given me experience, lessons, and circumstances that, although sometimes unpleasant, I am deeply grateful for today. Each stage left me with something valuable, and all of them together have given me a more serene, more conscious, and more grateful outlook.
At this age, I no longer rush so much, I no longer demand as much of myself as I used to. I have learned to enjoy myself, to listen to myself and to make room for what really matters to me. I like the woman I see in the mirror, I like the woman I have become, and also the woman I still am, because I am still a work in progress, I am still learning, I am still surprising myself.
So, in answer to whether I feel older or younger than my age, I would say that I feel fully in my moment, in my essence. With energy, with enthusiasm, and with the certainty that each year adds to and contributes to my life, and that, for me, is one of the most beautiful gifts of getting older.
Cuando pienso en la cantidad de años que llevo recorridos, no me siento tan mayor. Más bien siento que estoy en un momento muy bonito y especial, donde la vida me ha regalado experiencia, aprendizajes y circunstancias que, aunque a veces no fueron agradables, hoy agradezco profundamente. Cada etapa dejó algo valioso, y todas juntas me han dado una mirada más serena, más consciente y más agradecida.
A esta edad, ya no me apresuro tanto, ya no me exijo como antes. He aprendido a disfrutar, a escucharme y a darle espacio a lo que realmente me importa. Me gusta la mujer que veo en el espejo, me gusta la mujer en la que me he convertido, y también la que sigo siendo, porque todavía estoy en construcción, todavía aprendo, todavía me sorprendo.
Así que, respondiendo a si me siento mayor o menor para mi edad, diría que me siento plenamente en mi momento, en mi esencia. Con energía, con ilusión y con la certeza de que cada año suma, aporta, y eso, para mí, es uno de los regalos más bonitos de cumplir años.
