When have you felt your biggest adrenaline rush?
There have been several occasions when I have felt extreme adrenaline rush, but I'll share this recent one, which was a year and a half back when we went on a holiday. We were to embark on a cruise from Rome. It was a 7 nights cruise and I was in full excitement. Covid was not completely gone and there were these checking everywhere. We had to get a PCR test done a day prior to the embarkation. I was so very nervous about the results. Since we were on a holiday and travelling places, I was hoping and praying that nothing negative comes up. All the money was paid which was a huge amount and there was no refund. We were 3 of us, me, hubby and son. So even if one was Covid positive we would have had to call it off.
We went for the test at one of the pharmacies and got it done and then had to wait for half an hour for the result. It was the longest wait I ever felt. Those 30 minutes felt like 30 days. Finally, they called our names and gave us the result. I was so scared to even look at it. I asked the lady for the 3 of us, is it all good news and she gave us a smiling nod. In that moment I busted with joy. I cannot even express how I felt. Whole day I kept harping, we made it, we made it.
A sweet memory of that holiday
It was my dream vacation. I was planning for it for more than a year and that PCR moment took the life out of me. I hugged my boys and almost had tears in my eyes. It was such a high moment of joy for me, extreme excitement and emotions I felt. I wanted to shout and tell everyone, that yes, I am finally going for sure on the Cruise holiday of my dream.
What's the one thing people always misunderstand about you?
People perceive us the way they want to, we cannot have control over other people's thoughts about us. No matter however good we are but there will always be something that some people may not like.
For me, where people misunderstand me the most is on my silence. I do not like to speak much, especially unnecessary conversations where you are saying something just because you have to and I discourage such conversations. I do not stop others, but I cut myself out of such conversations. I do not like to talk on phone or even messaging and this is where people take me wrong. They feel that I am being fussy and egoistic. For me, I like to stay silent as much as possible, but this silence of mine is not taken in the right spirit. There are times when I have to force myself to participate in conversations to just be a part of it.
For my very close friends they know me well and they do not have issues with my behavior's, they accept the way I am, but when I am with people who do not know me well, they feel I am fussy. The thing is that I am there 100% involved but just that I do not like to speak much. I wish people can understand me better on this part and accept me the way I am.

People who are silent are always analyzing and thinking to speak at the right time, I don't see anything wrong with that.
It depends on how you take it. I have always had major issues with my silence, including in my own home.
This is why we can't live the way others want us to live just to please them. Being silent does not signify egoism. Its just the way you choose to be at that point in time.
That's very true, probably I become too quiet even when it is required to speak and that's where people misunderstand me

Oh, that's surely understandable. Being silent doesn't make you egoistic and choosing not to interact in every conversation is wise, if you ask me.

I could actually feel the rush of emotions when they gave the result of the test π a look at it would determine if you'd go ahead with the vacation or not. I'm glad it didn't mess things up.

Some people may even want to take you for granted because you are mostly silent

And just like you, I don't talk much because I am more focused on observing people around me. So I often misunderstood as strict and unfriendly π€£.. Well, I am serious l, but I know how to laugh as well. It depends on who I am with

It is always the thought that seems wrong to others. There are some people who always think about themselves and stop thinking about others, their perspective is only wrong. But we can change those things by talking. Thanks for sharing π
