Good morning dear ladies of Hive, December is already here and the themes of this wonderful community could not stay without starting to celebrate the most beautiful and awaited time of the year.
1.- EVERYONE takes selfies, right?You'll have to go out somewhere where Christmas decorations are in full swing; whether it's a local department store or your favorite restaurant, someone's home or anywhere. You'll have to dress festively and give me your best photo of holiday cheer!Be creative; be funny; be extravagant and over the top!It's still early (not really), but let's see how to take a serious Christmas selfie!
When I read that it could be anywhere to take a picture I felt a bit of relief since my house has decorations everywhere and these days I haven't left the house to enjoy the lights of my city because the girls had a cold, so we looked for the most Christmasy outfits I had on hand and got dressed up.
At first I tried to take selfies with the timer and then I asked one of my brothers for help to make the pictures as fun as possible because the girls wanted to be in them and it was a little tricky to keep them still because they are quite active.
In the end I managed to enjoy a nice moment full of joy at their side, although they only wanted to play with the reindeer that are part of the Christmas decorations, we want to keep the best pictures and although most of them are shaky the best thing for me is to store memories.
The Christmas season and New Year's celebrations generate special gastronomic traditions.What we want to know is: what is the most exquisite dessert you enjoy during this season?Provide a picture of the dessert (preferably you enjoying it, but not required) and, if it's something you prepare, perhaps provide the recipe so we can all enjoy it.
Although in our Venezuelan gastronomy for Christmas multiple sweets are made such as: milky with pineapple and manjar, quesillo, majarete, panetón, turrón and manjar with fruits among others, my favorite is the black cake with candied fruits last year when I cooked it I shared the process with all of you and here is the link so you can read my complete recipe: Torta negra navideña
This is the most delicious dessert that I like to enjoy at this time of the year because of all the textures that the candied fruits, walnuts and almonds add to the inside of the black cake, plus its sweet flavor that combined with the chocolate leaves more than one wanting to enjoy another piece, some people don't decorate it but I like to add sugar snow and cherries in its cover to make it more exquisite.

Cuando leí que podía ser cualquier lugar para tomar una foto sentí un poco de alivio ya que en mi casa hay adornos por doquier y éstos días no he salido de casa a disfrutar de las luces de mi ciudad porque las niñas estuvieron resfriadas, buscamos los atuendos más navideños que tenía a la mano y nos vestimos.
Al principio intenté tomar selfies con el temporizador y luego pedí ayuda a uno de mis hermanos para que las fotos salieran lo más divertidas posibles porque las niñas querían salir en ellas y era un poco complicado que se quedarán quietas porque son bastante activas.
A la final logré disfrutar un lindo momento lleno de alegría a su lado, aunque ellas solo querían jugar con los renos que son parte de la decoración navideña, queremos guardar las mejores fotografías y aunque la mayoría estén movidas lo mejor para mí es almacenar recuerdos.
2.- La temporada navideña y las celebraciones de Año Nuevo generan tradiciones gastronómicas especiales. Lo que queremos saber es: ¿cuál es el postre más exquisito que disfrutas durante esta época? Proporcione una imagen del postre (preferiblemente usted disfrutándolo, pero no es obligatorio) y, si es algo que usted prepara, tal vez proporcione la receta para que todos podamos disfrutarlo.

Este el postre más delicioso que me gusta disfrutar en estas fechas por todas las texturas que le aportan las frutas confitadas, nueces y almendras al interior de la torta negra, más su dulce sabor que combinado con el chocolate deja a más de uno con ganas de disfrutar de otro pedazo, algunas personas no la decoran pero a mi me gusta agregar nevazucar y cerezas en su cubierta para hacerla más exquisita.

In my home we decorate since November because it is a tradition in my country to decorate the trees since October, but it takes us a month longer than the rest.
It is one of the best desserts I can cook and eat at Christmas.
