Is it me or is Snaps getting more quiet lately?
I think it doesn’t help that some accounts post a lot of automated stuff like leoquoter and the AI summaries.
Any new upcoming features or canpaigns @peakd team @asgarth ?

Another issue is I see a lot of new names on "Top Snap Author Rewards" but when you look at their profile they aren't really Snapping. I think it is something to do with commentrewarder but I am not sure. Someone smarter than me would need to look at it.:)
I cannot remember seeing any snaps of the top 3 either.
Maybe @acidyo knows.
Hey, yeah it's our new initiative to promote web2 activities through #posh and #gosh. the snaps happen in the same container but are separate from the main snaps feed to prevent bloat/spam. You gotta access them through the hiveposh community's snap section!

I do sometimes link some posts in Bluesky and get a reply, but I don't have a lot of followers. Not really active on it either.
yeah this one's more and manual open to any web2s and with some additional ideas for gosh to boost our outreach, it's still quite experimental but let's see how it goes and if snaps is the best platform for it!

commentrewarder actually only counts as "interaction rewards", we're giving some bigger votes to early users of posh and gosh over in the hiveposh communities snap section which shares the same container as the main one but just hidden from this feed to avoid bloat!

I have been a little quiet this week because I was only using my phone date, but now that our main internet connection is back, you'll see more of me again! hahahah

I was just thinking that last night. We are pretty unique in web3 short content because it is not all crypto focused, but it is pretty quiet here which is a shame.
Snaps need to work on the layout and make it look more like twitter, one thing they need to do is automatically center the images when they are smaller. Also the font is too small when at actual size in the browser, or at least give us a way to increase the text size @asgarth
I winder if they still have attention for snaps. I once suggested to register a separate URL for it. That way you could marktet it separately like twitter.
Well, I'm not active every day, because my personal life is very busy, but whenever I can I'm interacting with content that I like. But a question came to me... have the commentreward rewards decreased? That would explain why people are commenting less.

Well Hive itself is small, and we seem to be shrinking more and more all the time. But yeah, the bot accounts just tweeting junk constantly certainly don't help.

Map of #PFAS pollution in Europe. PFAS are a huge group of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, also known as "forever chemicals", that are hardly degraded and accumulate in our body.

Here in the US we are just going to quit testing for it and pretend it doesn't exist that way it will go away. I'm probably so full of microplastics there won't be room for PFAS anyway.;)
OMG, this is really bad. You should install a filter for your tap water.
We're on a well in a fairly rural area so maybe the ground water isn't contaminated yet. I do have a filter but not sure if it can filter PFAS or microplastics. It may not matter as microplastics seem to be everywhere... food, water, air.

Its sad how much has been spent overall on stuff that brings 0 value back to Hive. I would vote for a proppsal to instead use entire DHF to buy $BTC and have a Hive strategic Bitcoin reserve.
Why can't we fund projects that can bring a revenue flow back to hive and it's users? What does investing in honeycomb roi? Bro come on you are a leader can't we just invest in Bitcoin, or some AI companies on the Nasdaq. HIVE is dying. Let's just invest in Netflix and chill.
DHF should be for projects that better Hive not “investments” but we can do so much better. We are throwing boatloads of cash to things that have near impact.
Maybe we could hire a real fortune 500 company in silicon valley to build specific native smart contracts on L1 to create a huge revenue generating defi system opportunity here in HIVE so we have a backup plan in case VSC doesn't pan out?

I'm not sure if they're naturally a rare breed or not but I seldom see them anywhere I go, even at some zoos. Maybe it's the area :)
I know some people raise them and have them around their house. I've never seen one around here and they can be pretty noisy. Don't think our neighborhood allows them. Probably an escapee from somewhere or somebody dumped it here. :)
Maybe this one is an escapee lol, hope it finds it way to its new home soon. Don't think it's safe wandering around by itself, the noises can easily grab attention before the visuals come into play :)

Someone capitulated quite hard there on their #hive holdings on upbit, ouch. 5.67m hive volume in 30mins.
Why would an investor on Upbit want to hold hive when their stake is constantly being diluted by inflation from us here, it seems HIVE has a bigger problem built into the ecosystem that was easy to ignore when the price was high, but now it's the big blue elephant in the room.😅
I think Upbit is delisting HIVE, that is my best guess as to what's going on there, insiders getting out before the announcement. If a coin doesn't perform after a given period of time it's time to delist, all things remaining equal.
