I need to plan on bringing a bit more HIVE into my account.
So relatable about feeling amazing after dishing out a vote. For me, it's usually contributing on keeping a post/comment above the reward threshold level.
For the last years, I have been mostly helping behind the scenes without too much reporting. Not because I don't find it important for your own self (kind of SMART thing to do), but mostly because time sucked in the last 2 years.
Although these tasting times are gold!
Powering up is something I love to do. The feeling of improving and helping people is sensational, getting more HP is good for us and for the whole community!
Man... Next year (and that might be late) I will do some serious investment in Hive! This year, I can't yet, financially and time-wise.

I think those mean it's going to get windy and be really good for flying kites.
Indeed! I also do wonder sometimes on the mechanism that creates these patterns. In terms of meaning, I think it mostly depends on the perceiver.
Updrafts ... instability in the atmosphere because of rising hot air, but not quite enough to form thunderstorms ... but that flattening at the top is called "anviling out," and it is common in thunderstorms as they hit the top of the weather layer.
I remember seeing anvil clouds — or "thunderheads" as we called them — when I lived down south, but I had just never seen those distinct horizontal bands before.
What I think is happening is, the horizontal bands are cirrus or cirrostratus -- that means there is moisture up there very high, but there may not be enough lower down to sustain a real thunderhead -- so there's moisture getting hot and going up higher, but not enough to get things really moving.
Looks like a mushroom cloud.
