Comments don't usually get frequent upvotes. So, attitudes like yours (which have more voting power) can help "reshape" this game.

It's not a bad idea imo. One motivation for me is I have seen instances where auto upvotes cause some users to do "weird" stuff. I have no issue with auto upvotes but it just made me realize auto downvotes on good stakeholders comments is at best weird lol

I think I notice it because people who downvote tend to interact with me. I think in a way downvoters support each other through engagement because we can empathize with each other really well.
