My name is Marcia, i am new on Ecency and this is my first post!
We recently arrived in Bulgaria with @zhishuijing , we came from Peru, we were living in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a beautiful place full of nature and connection with spirituality. Following our hearts we decided to look for a new way!
This is how we are doing WorkAway, finding the @Atma.love 's place 🙏, our arrangement include 25 hours of work per week, with a lot of flexibility ❣, we can work outsite in the renovation of the old barn, cut and order firewood to feed the stove and more funny things (we don't have snow in Perú, so we were very exited..Until we began to freeze our fingers 🤣)

Although I’ve never been to Peru, ask any of my friends where I want to go and they’ll tell you - I just think Peru has such rich and beautiful history!
I learned about the magic of Peru when I was looking for a new musical instrument. I wanted something that would allow me to play the melodies in my heart without having to focus on lyrics or telling a story. This search lead me to the quena, which naturally lead me to Peru! I love traditional Andean music and artists like Uña Ramos - in fact I even started a community here to celebrate these things, called QuenaSabor!
I’m sure that being from Peru doesn’t necessarily make you an instant fan of the quena, but it does make me an instant fan of you! :)
Amazing! Yes that is a fact! I enjoy of peruvian music, but i never had a quena, i feel this kind of music are very conected with the energy of the earth (Pachamama) mother of life, for me is a beautiful conection, pure and direct from the heart, and im happy of people around the world lime you are avaible to conect with, so thanks for keep alive this beautiful vibration and instrument! That’s incredible! I did a video about that a while back, I think I have scheduled it to go live in February, but essentially it was about how the quena, particularly when you’re playing traditional Andean music (like Fiesta Aymara, Plagaría del Inca, etc), you feel this connection with something bigger. Like today’s music is usually written by an individual, about themselves - and the Andean music was written by the soul of a nation, and that hopes and dreams of countless people are all tied into the energy of the music.
Neat to hear it from you, I just felt that way and decided it must be so, but your explanation of Pachamama really helps give new light to this concept for me :)

Welcome to HIVE and Bulgaria! HIVE is a wonderful place full of nice people and a lot of opportunities. Oh, I didn't know there's no snow ❄️ in Peru! I thought you have snow in the mountains.
Thank you for the welcome! Yes, you are right, there is snow in the mountains of Peru but very little (there is less and less with the passage of time) and in places where not many people live! 🌨
Ok! By the way, the climate has changed significantly. 20-30 years ago during the winters there was much more snow ❄️, here, in Bulgaria. Now, almost there's no Winter. It last now 1-3 weeks. Before, we used to have snow 2-2,5 months long.
Welcome to HIVE! Oh, you're in for a crazy ride, but I'm sure you'll enjoy it, especially since it's an experience that rewards itself. Kinda like the gift that keeps giving. But you'll see.
Bulgaria from Peru, wow! I'd love to go to both places! Living in Mexico right now, though originally from Hungary. So not too far on both sides, even though there are immense distances.
Oh, and the snow! Hahahaha! If there is a chance of a sauna, temazcal, sweat-lodge, or even just a hot bath, freezing your fingers (and toes, and butt, and nose!) can be actually really enjoyable. Under the right conditions, being naked in the snow can be the most wonderful experience. You'll see when you try! 😉
