As long as people don't care for nature and for others they will suffer from their own errors. Of course, there are more innocent people among the guilty ones, and most times the guilty ones are not harmed at all - that's sad and I feel sorry for that.

It also happens on much bigger scales over here. Imagine that you run a sewage station that treats the sewage from a town and due to lack of maintenamce the pumps no longer work.
No problem, as you simply open the gates and run all of the raw sewage into the river.
In the process killing all life for miles downstream and spreading diseases in the animals that drink from the river. The farmers use the same poisoned water to spray and irrigate their crops.
A big evil this and I have only given you one example about a lack of care.

I would love to say that such can never happen here, but similar has happened lately and will happen again, because the big companies don't care if they have to pay big fines and if their managers have to go to jail they get new ones.

Unfortuntely ours are not big companies, as it is local government and many of them are broke my friend. The wise thing to do would be to farm the water treatment plants out to specialist private water treatment companies, but that would never happen.
So things will just continue as is.
