My record was 3h in Amsterdam - luckily, KLM has an excellent service, and I had a book with me. Still, way too boring. They gave me a 500$ coupon for that, but I didn't fly again until it expired.

A coupon! They gave us a cup of water, sparingly.
There was a cracked windscreen on the plane and in the end, they flew anyway. Total waste of time.
Did they fix it with duct tape?
I don't think so. They "flew lower and slower" than normal.
"Shouldn't we like, dunno, use a different plane?"
"Naaa, you'll be fine. Just fly low and slow and don't hit any geese. Good luck, sport!"
