Thanks for your comment. Yes, the camera is the one with you. I just have to realize that I can go on vacation without my SLR. This is showing me I can. I also had a great thought- when there are pictures I really want to be special I can switch to RAW.

Thank you for your Art is a threat post. I read it and the comments yesterday and have been thinking about it. That is what I wanted, for people to talk about art. I will hang on to the Nikon like I did the Canon. Actually I am letting my friend's son use the Canon. If he wants to be a photographer or even test it out I would really enjoy giving him a camera be a part of that journey.
I plan on turning my Master's thesis "Visions of Death" into a series of posts with videos, so hopefully that will get a few people wandering through this community. We have a lot of artists making stuff, but, (in my opinion) - not enough people talking about the impact that Art can have on our lives, our society and our well being.
