RE: The Daily Meme #136!

I think you underestimate our newbs' greed.
The folks driving our price down are the ones with the millions on the exchanges.
The way to overcome that is to get more people powering up.
The little fishes selling are only making the problem worse.
We need to make it customary that the newbs don't get rewards if they sell before they have 1mv, imo.

Sort:

Or a deflationary interest curve the longer the users holds the funds?

That interest stuff is annoying me, it seems like more thought when into the interest than the rewards pool lately.

Also full transparency I sold all the hive that I bought at $0.10 because of the attitude of the Witnesses on here, I was about to increase my Holdings substantially but decided to just take the profit generated in Bitcoin on a trade.

Can't blame anyone for selling with @someguy123 and @deathwing upvoting spam comments on my posts because it's their friend...

It's like herding cats,...

Word of advice, I hate personification of Technology development, I find the ethereum community repulsive for their use of terms and dehumanizing things, where they put the developers up on a pedestal, then those same developers who are up on the pedestal who now have an ego will be subject to the logical fallacies that humans have displayed throughout the ages when they are given roles and places in authority.

I refuse to hold a currency that has a human face oh, I want to be Sovereign from the machine that is governing our affairs. Only a slave would want their hive blog to emotionally respond to them and have surprises like little gift bags the way this interest works.

I find the eth community repulsive because they embrace fees.
Slave, get me more fees!

You don't want emotional support from a virtual society?
And who doesn't like free money?

Yes, money enslaves us, but free money can also free us.
When 'money' loses it's place in the society, we can look at maybe being free.

Keep working, stop paying.

40% of the human race doesn't even have an internal dialog, freedom for all means freedom for 1 celled organisms can understand with less than 1 fully formed synapse...

Money will never set you free: the transfer of it being outside of global meddling like SWIFT or ISO20022 Global financial transactions standardization might though.

We don't have to have money, we do have to have workers.

Keep working, stop paying.
That sets us free, while increasing our standards of living.

It's all lined out here.

We should rewrite that with both yours and my seal of approval.

If we could find a way to unite the anarcho-capitalist and anarcho-communist sub cultures, we could effectively subvert the NWO with a counter narrative in a world without central authority.

I think changing up the split is coming before long.
We don't account for interest on hbd in the official inflation numbers, it just comes from thin air adding to the overall inflation rate in excess of the advertised ~8.5%.

I don't know man. HIVE can be so many things, a tokenized incentivized blogging platform is probably the least savvy example of what it could be. Most curating is done via automation and a ton of posts are low effort and/or auto posts as well too.

It's been quite a few years now - all the things HIVE / STEEM were meant to be if only everyone would do X,Y,Z, has come and gone I feel.

It's up to creativity and imagination and maximisation of the HIVE graphene tech + possible other undiscovered features which will make it's price go up (outside of whales and pumps of course).

Hive launched as a tokenized blogging platform because that is what the mvp of launching a screaming fast blockchain called for in 2016.

We were supposed to be a landing zone for devs, but when the lead dev got ran off by a, imo, greedy f**k, that then got mad when we got mad that he came to a business meeting with a guitar and an exposed belly button, subsequently selling us down the river to the chicoms for a fraction of our true value, that all came to a screeching halt.

The chain itself was not ready for primetime.
It cost way too much to run.
BT has saved us from all that, and made us ready for far more users.
Up until this fork, the stinciness was running most sensible users from the platform.
It hasn't been before now that we had a chance at success when the masses do find us.

If we pull a full percentage from either btc or eth with our no fee defi, all this blogging bs will not be worth the effort for many of us long term users.
While also giving newbs the best return on their time they can find.

We are just now ready to stand this rocket up and call to all for boarding.

with our no fee defi,

now you're talking! That in itself is extremely revolutionary.

I'm coming back on board regardless. Getting antsy and this place has always allowed me to express myself, given opportunity, inspired possibilities and remains pretty much a bulletproof sanctum of self-expression
